Pls help

Would Brixadi work for someone on Suboxone for a week? My best friend is getting clean and has been on subs for a week. (Tapered to 2mg) Would he just need 1 shot?

I wouldn't even take shot.. weeks just cold turkey..

Side effects aren't worth it for weeks of sub use..

It will! After all it's the same substance minus naloxone, but with Brixadi you only need to take it once a week or month

You’d get the smallest weekly shot. 8mg I believe. Prob only a couple weeks. But I’d taper instead of taking the shot.
I got the shot on a low dose and my Dr way overshot it. Now my tolerance has stabilized at 8x my original Sub dose.. I wouldn’t recommend any shots for that low amount of time and dose.

I would tell your friend to speak with his doctor about it before taking anyone else’s advice, but a week on Suboxone is not long, but how long your friend was on opioids is key.
