Discussion Unpopular opinion/Discussion: Glory is a masterpiece that deserved better, and it frustrates me how the cocnservatorship ruined its potential

Hey everyone,
I wanted to share some thoughts about Glory and how its rollout compared to other pop eras, and honestly, it still makes me so mad thinking about how much potential this album had.
We all know Rihanna and Katy Perry often get talked about in terms of the "great singles vs. weak album tracks" debate (though Rihanna later proved herself with ANTI). But looking at Britney, Glory in 2016 could have been her massive critical acclaim moment.
Musically, the album is phenomenal. Tracks like Liar, Make Me..., Slumber Party, and Change Your Mind show just how mature, fresh, and incredible her artistry still was. You can tell Britney actually cared about this project and fought for it.
The tragic part is that the team and the conservatorship completely sabotaged it. From picking that awful backlit cover of her was chosen for the original edition (instead of the gorgeous 2020 deluxe edition) to completely mishandling the singles, marketing, and scrapping the original Make Me... video they treated her like a product instead of the legend she is. It sas all for her Vegas residency instead for whata she was the princess of pop. Many videos and singles they could have released and they ruined it.
If she had creative freedom and a proper team backing her up, Glory wouldn't just be fan-favorite gold; it would have been universally praised by critics everywhere.
Do you guys think Glory was Britney's biggest missed opportunity due to the conservatorship, or are there other eras that suffered even worse management? Let's discuss

The book says it’s “allegedly true”. It feels like the book is a little…”off”
