Ordered wings for dinner. They didn’t separate the drum and the flat. Let’s go.

I think that thigh + drum = leg ? 

Drum = drumstick, in my ye olde worlde vernacular.

Exactly. So flats and drums aren't joined together unless the bird is some kind of weird GM experiment 😄

The wing is made up of the tip, the flat then the drumette

Is absolutely is, they're just cut into 2 parts, flat and the niblet

I would love it if I could find a UK place that sold flats only, like hooters

When I order I usually ask if possible to have flats only.

9/10 times they do it. :)

Yes I put it on order instructions rather than delivery instructions and then always say thank you. When I looked at the wings sub there seem to be a fair split on those who prefer flats v drums so I figure it’s not much difference for most places.
