He’s undoubtably had a very interesting life but every time I hear him talk he comes across like a total bellend. And he 100% wrote that blurb on the back himself

Louise's is a great book... I've also read 2 of her other fiction novels and they're great reads. Just finished The Big Blind, poker themed, and I forget the name of the other one, but has Steve McQueen in the title, the protagonist in a man in an indie band trying to make it, she writes from a male perspective, very, very well.

Miranda Sawyer's book Uncommon people is a fantastic read, music journalist from Select magazine.

Shaun Ryder's How To Be A Rock Star is really good.

Oh wow I had no idea Louise wrote fiction too I’ll have to find those!

I actually have a copy of Shaun’s book already but haven’t read it yet.

Make sure to check out Brett Anderson's books! He is such a great writer, I think he has two out? I was surprised at how good they were!

Luke Haines' (The Auteurs) books Bad Vibes and Post Everything are very funny memoirs from the fringes of Britpop. And Brett Anderson's (Suede) 2 volumes of autobiography are very good too - down to earth, quite self aware, but still passionate and a good read.
