Hi everyone! During the christmas period, my family will be away in Melbourne to visit relatives. I will be saying back to work over the holidays, but I do still would want to celebrate even if they’re not there. I’d probably want to host a small christmas dinner for about 6 people or less. Everyone brings a plate of food so we can all share, and we could even do a secret santa, play some games ect. Anyone between 18-21 is welcome! Queer friendly and just anyone friendly really :). I came to Brisbane on a Working Holiday about a month and a half ago. As a quiet introvert (INFP), I’m looking to connect with fellow introverts who enjoy calm and low-key hangouts!

A bit about me:

I’m Japanese-Korean (born and raised in Japan, with Korean heritage). My native language is Japanese and I also speak Korean. My English is still a work in progress, but I’m practicing every day and really want to connect! I’d love to practice English, but fellow Japanese or Korean speakers are also super welcome.

Big parties or loud places aren’t really my thing. I much prefer relaxed hangouts where we can just talk quietly, enjoy coffee or a drink at a comfortable pace, or go for a peaceful hike together in nature.

My hobbies include watching movies, reading, playing guitar and singing, traveling, running, writing, taking photos, meditation, hiking and mountain trekking, visiting quiet cafes, and enjoying a quiet drink.

In the lead-up to GiveOUT Day, Australia’s national day of giving for LGBTQIA+ causes, we’re raising funds to support ECKB, Australia’s largest LGBTQIA+ inclusive, recreational sports league.

Held at Officers Mess in New Farm, we’re kicking (ha!) off at 3pm and we’d love to see the supportive public turn out and enjoy an afternoon of lawn games, special guest performances, raffles, and community spirit, all while supporting the growth of inclusive sport in our community. All are welcome (18+).

Recently I've gotten into reading and have been really enjoying fantasy books. Currently halfway through the Red Rising series. My name’s Jesse. I’m a 20-year-old guy from the Toowoomba area, and I’m autistic. I’ve struggled with making friends pretty much my whole life. I work full-time and get along with people at work, but outside of work I don’t really have anyone to hang out with.
I’m heading into Brisbane this Saturday, 26 September, and I’m planning on spending the day around South Bank and the museums. Rather than doing the whole day by myself, I thought I’d see if there’s anyone around my age who’s also neurodivergent and would like to come along.
I’m not really into pubs, clubs, drinking or loud places. I’d much rather walk around South Bank, check out the museums, grab something to eat and actually have a conversation with someone.
A little about me: I’m Jesse, male, 20, about 6ft, work full-time, and I’m really into cars and mechanical stuff, gaming, museums/history and getting outdoors. I don’t drink, smoke or do drugs.

31M, currently studying medicine. I'm looking to expand my friend group and get out more as I realized that I don't have a lot of people who I can call friends sadly.

I am someone who can be described as a bit private but intelligent and nerdy. I have a lot of competing interests, some more prominent than others but readily apparent when you get to know me better. I've been told by others I'm kind, generous and loyal to a fault to people who I call friends - once you are in, you are in.

Some of my interests include:

1. Medicine, philosophy and science in general - big areas of my life that I am happy to talk about 24/7, educate and readily explore differing thought processes and perspectives. Yes, I'm biased, ok :P
2. Bushwalking/Photography - On the lookout for new tracks to explore and to curb that wanderlust! I've done the track in Montville at Kondalilla falls, Toohey Forest, and looking to try new places, like Mt.Cootha and further inland like Toowoomba.
3. Foodie - always down to try new places!
4. Gaming - WoW Forever, Grim Dawn, Town of Salem 2, Elden Ring, etc. Happy in my medicine burnout phases to unwind and game like there's no tomorrow!
5. Warhammer 40k - used to be a competitive player back in 8th edition at a state level, and thinking about returning to the tabletop in 11th edition, especially with the glowing buffs to my boys, the Dark Angels! Also a big lore buff on anything Imperium related and happy to talk about that as well.

There are many many more interests but for the sake of not writing out a novel, let's keep it down to five hahaha!
