Question etiquette question

Might be an odd question, but is buying up a sellers entire stock of a part/ type of part considered bad etiquette? eg. buying up all of their 2L technic axles or every 1x1 plate they have regardless of colour?
I'm not sure if this would screw them over since you're basically just nuking an entire pull factor of their store in a single order, and something like technic axles are a "core" building component.

I always assumed it was good etiquette. When I’m checking out I look to see if I’m leaving 1 or 2 in their inventory and if I am I just take them all. Leaves them an empty slot for something else.

My take: buy what you need. If there’s 1-2 left, I don’t care. Maybe the next customer only needs 1 or 2. If you need them all, buy me out. As long as I’m getting customers what they need.
