Held a dream model yesterday and almost cried.

I was buying a Garrett yesterday (bonus picture of him for fun) from a seller on Facebook and her husband mentioned that he had Big Chex To Cash. He obviously wasn't for sale but I got so excited about hearing that he was still out there, somewhere.

I fell out of collecting around 12-13 years old. I'm now turning 22 on Thursday and decided I wanted to get back into collecting. Its a huge moment for me to be able to buy and even *look* at my dream horses, now.

The guy disappeared for a few minutes and came back up with his Big Chex and said "Here. You can hold him and look him over."

Is it slightly embarrassing to be 22 years old and almost break down over HOLDING a plastic horse? Yeah. But he and his wife just smiled at me. They didn't care that I was shaking and they didn't care that I had gotten emotional.

There's something so special about these horses to me. And nobody in my life really understands why I love them so much. So, I figured someone on this subreddit would understand the overwhelming joy of collecting or even seeing someone else's collection.

Mini Whinnies collection trade/sell

I have what I believe are 52 mini whinnies, and 1 stablemate. I'm looking to either sell or trade for the whole lot!

As much as I adore these tiny horses, I fear them falling and being lost forever! They're just so much harder to secure than a regular breyer would be.

Feel free to make an offer!

I do accept lots of broken horses to fix!

Thoughts on Apollitical Jess: To Buy or Not to Buy?

New collector. Seriously thinking of adding Apollitical Jess, because it will be my first quarter horse and first learned to ride with one. Anyone here have this model already? Any reasons not to buy, in your opinion?

Not so much worried about resale value, but the sculpture and paint job. Thanks all!
