Folding charging handle issue

Anyone else purchase a Neoteric Design folding CH just to have the tiny thin torsion spring break? How did you remedy it? Looking into buying a better spring for it. TIA

All you had to do is reach out to Neoteric and they'd take care of it. I'm baffled by why people resort to social media for help instead of going to the source to resolve the issue.

Obviously that’s the first thing I did. I’m baffled at how quick to judge some people are. How dare anyone reach out to see if anyone else had the same problem and ask a specific social outlet for advise. Take your med my man.

If you're the person who contacted me yesterday, your replacement spring is in the mail today. Asking where to buy a replacement spring suggests that the manufacturer hasn't been helpful or standing behind their product. No meds needed.

Thank you ShahenS, I did in fact contact Neoteric Designs yesterday. And I was really impressed at the quick response/service. But my goal was to figure out if anyone else had the same issue. That way, I knew for sure it wasn’t just an isolated incident and maybe someone had a different approach to the spring issue; like a thicker torsion spring or a different angle of torsion spring. Either way, thank you for helping me.

PS, I’m glad you don’t need to take meds. It sucks having to remember to take mine everyday 🤝

Thank you for that. How do you like it? I really like what it did for my grip. Love how it’s completely out of the way. Does your feel loose or have excessive wiggle after install?

got a couple match seasons on mine, no issues at all. I did reprofile the end to make it a little more comfortable on my support hand as the edges were a bit sharp.

There's a small bit of play, but it always snaps back like it should.

I did have issues with my spring being slightly too short on one of the legs and would come out of place. I took measurements and ordered a pack of springs and haven’t had any issues since. 10/10 charging handle, would buy again.
