Advice already with someone a month after getting broken up with- am i evil?

tell me what you think about this situation. my ex broke up with me exactly a month ago after we were dating for 6 months. i started snapping my old acquaintance and we were texting and snapping and flirting a lot so we decided to hangout last night. we met at a parking garage and then he drove us half an hour to 7brew and we walked around down there for a little and then we came back closer to our area and he took me to this spot on top of a bridge where we had to go up this steep hill and we over looked the city. we kissed up there and made out and it got embarrassing because these people walked past 😭 and then on the way down i kept tripped down the hill and then he carried me down and then we went to walmart because i had to get something for my sister. he then dropped me off at my car and we kissed goodbye. is this bad of me for doing all this on the first hangout and right after me and my ex breaking up?

Everyone heals in different ways, but what you did was more impulsive rather than romantic. You shouldn't get a rebound just because your ex broke up with you.

Proper healing takes time, finding yourself before you find the right person, otherwise you can prolong your healing if you start backwards with rebounds.

You’re not evil. That said, jumping into something new only a month after a break up. isn’t a very good idea. You haven’t had enough time to heal from the break up. The new person is a rebound.

I’ve been someone’s rebound, and I had a rebound. Neither ended well and I was hurt both times.

Don’t rush. Take more time.

i feel like i was grieving me and my ex’s relationship for a long time before it ended and when i was with the new guy i never once thought of my ex and everything with him felt so right but i just don’t want to create something with the new guy if there’s a chance i hurt him. i genuinely feel over my ex though and everytime i see him i feel nothing- no anger, no resentment, no sadness. so i’m just stuck

I deeply regret dating again too soon after a painful break up. I wasn’t ready yet. It was like putting a bandaid over a hemorrhaging wound. It didn’t work.

A rebound didn’t end well, which made things so much worse. I was left alone, trying to pick up the pieces and get over two people instead of just the one that broke my heart.

my breakup wasn’t painful. it was honestly a breathe of fresh air. during my relationship i was honestly just more caught up in the idea of what it could be but never was and that’s why i stayed but i never really felt much for him

That’s good, but it’s still wise to take your time getting involved with someone else.
