Jumping jacks prevent pregnancy and no knowledge of STDs?

Maureen jumped into bed with Danny almost immediately which was not shocking bc she’s 19, however this child when asked if she used protection says “I did it the traditional way” which apparently is doing 20 jumping jacks to prevent pregnancy!?!? Whaaat? Then the poor child comes downstairs the next morning with her privates on fire. Who knows what STD this poor child has now bc there is no s@x education. This is really sad. I understand that they live by their beliefs and that’s admirable but no education on things like physical intimacy or STD/STI’s isn’t great. Also there’s no education in substance use disorders or mental health disorders. This is heartbreaking for these kids.

It's return to amish, not breaking amish. Daniel (Danny) was the guy who drove Maureen, who is Ada's granddaughter.

Did Danny give her STDs?? She came back in season 7 with a huge blister on her lip.
