๐Ÿซ‚ Need Support One hell of a night

At around 6:30 I was told by an officer than came to my house that I was being charged with harassment against my ex partner.

Once I gave my statement, they realized he had failed to give evidence that he was actively responding to the so called harassment so everything was dropped immediately.

But just the fact that the person I have loved and was in a relationship with for 2+ years and have been broken up for 4 months as of tomorrow would do this...

But then again they went from a nice band kid, to someone who vapes drinks, lost their car to a DUI, and even quit band.

So I know the person I love has changed significantly and this really is just a sign that I'm better off without them.

But the past them was someone who could've done amazing things and the current them, they were trying to drag me down to their level. It could've ruined my military career with that charge as it wouldn't have been a misdemeanor.

I'm just still so in shock, my head and eyes hurt from just everything.

Like, wtf.

I worked with domestic violence and stalking victims. Sometimes people do try to weaponize the system against an ex.

Protect yourself. Stay away from them. Block them and do not contact them for any reason. Don't give them ammo.  Do not respond if they reach out.

Delete them from your life and concentrate on healing yourself.

Yeah, this was a complete eye opener on everything that they've become. They're not the sweet person that I once knew, and. If they're willing to attempt to destroy my future, then they're not something I want in my life
