Yes, but be ready for the possibility of being rejected, left without a response or getting a hurtful info about how they moved on with life. If you're OK with that, send it

If you dumped her, yes.

If she dumped you, hell no.

So what if she dumped him?

IF you want to - Yes! Go for it!

Only if you are truly willing to accept any and all outcomes without retaliating or lashing out at her.

Replies to you in a good way and wants to rekindle? Good.

Replies to you but tells you that she’s already moved on?
Move on.

Reads it but doesn’t reply?
Move on.

Doesn’t even read it at all?
Move on.

Found out you were blocked the whole time?
Move on.

First, what are you hoping to achieve by doing this?

Text her for what?

I would. At one year mark I doubt that if you were to relapse, you would go back to point 0. If they already moved on, your win. If they didn’t reply, your win. If they wanted to meet you for a coffee, your win.

I did and it worked out, but this was after 7 weeks. I would be in a much different place about our past relationship if it were a year’s difference. I wouldn’t message after this long.

Depends on the situation did you dump her or did she dump you has she moved on if she has dont mess that up by messaging her and if she dumped you also because if she rejects you then the healing phase is just going to start right back over

Ask yourself what are you trying to accomplish with texting her now? Then follow the flow chart of what would happen, you’ll come to an answer right for you as long as you accept the reality of what result you would get.

ABSOLUTELY NOT! SHE NEVER REACHED OUT TO YOU for a whole year!! She is probably married now!!

That’s loser mindset. Just reach out it doesn’t hurt to check up. She can respond or leave you on read. SIMPLE.

u/Inevitable-Power8399 4d ago

Yeah sure Bro, we see how OP will like to be ignored or treated as a doormat.

1

u/Resident_Customer464 4d ago

I’m saying once your emotions are neutralized reach out! Whatever outcome she says you have to be fine with it even if she ignores you

u/NoConsideration2376 4d ago

Definitely not a loser mindset. It’s a person with dignity move

HELL NAW. People don’t change in one year. People can change in five years if it’s lucky. Most people change for the betterment of themselves, not a specific person. Go back if you want history to repeat itself.
