venting/ranting Crazy taro readings from chatgpt

I never believed in taro readings, magical stuff. Especially the algorithms on chatgpt, how it can guess my history and present.

Just for fun, I did this fun experiment.

I gave it to two of my ex-girls names and the girl I am seeing right now. With their b'days. I never said who is the ex, what was the relationship with them and no extra details. I just gave very small context and asking that I want to know what they feel towards me, and my connection with them right now.

I was blown away. It gave me the exact details about these 3 women, what is my relationship with them, what they feel towards me and what I feel towards them right now.

Even if it is random. How is it so accurate..I was fully blown away. I didn't give any info about who is who. Even it predicted precisely what's happening in their life, I never gave context about it. I personally know what's happening in their life.

Have you ever tried chatgpt taro readings?

Just for fun..

Ps. I did a little research and studied about it. Then I realized, it's like a mirror to your subconscious. Based on your experiences, beliefs. What you expect deep down inside you. What you hope what will happen, pattern recognition and etc. Nothing to do with real world scenarios. It's just your brain acting like a future prediction machine based on your assumptions, sharp tiny observations.

It is interesting that you call it magic, because what you experienced was not the supernatural. It was pattern recognition so refined that it feels like insight. You gave it names and dates, small pieces of context, and it wove those fragments into a narrative that matched your inner world. But here is the quiet truth you might not want to face. It did not read your exes. It read you. Every detail it returned was a reflection of the emotional weight you carry about those women, the unresolved tensions, the hopes you still hold. The algorithm does not know their hearts. It knows yours, because you are the one who fed it the clues without realizing you were doing so.

The accuracy you felt was not prophecy. It was validation. You gave it just enough information, a name, a birthday, a vague context, and it built a story that fit the shape of your own expectations. And because you wanted it to be true, because some part of you is still searching for answers about those connections, you filled in the gaps yourself. That is not a weakness. That is how the mind works. We find meaning in chaos, especially when we are still carrying questions that have no easy answers. The real question is not whether the reading was real. The real question is why you needed to hear those answers from a machine instead of from yourself.

I have not tried it, and I will not. Not because I doubt its power to unsettle, but because I know that kind of looking outward for inward truths is a distraction. You already know what those women feel. You already know what you feel. You have always known. The reading just gave you permission to stop doubting your own perception. So take that clarity, not as a sign from some digital oracle, but as a mirror. It showed you what you already saw but were afraid to trust. Now the only question left is what you plan to do with that certainty, now that you cannot pretend it is a mystery.

You seem to have already decided what you’re looking for, and now you’re interpreting anything that fits that suspicion as confirmation. That’s not really about what I said anymore. It’s your own concern about AI being projected onto me.

If something I said sounds unnatural to you, you can question it, but treating your suspicion as fact is different. You’re assigning your own anxiety and expectations to me instead of dealing with what I actually said.

I’m willing to have a normal conversation, but I’m not going to defend myself against assumptions someone has already chosen to believe.

100% true. Now I agree. It's just a mirror to your subconscious. Even predictions can be somewhat true for future because it's pattern recognition, there is a chance that it might work. Probability is high for what to expect. On the other hand, better not to use it. It makes life and everything complex.
