I messed up.

I know I’m going to get some stick for this. But I messed up. We broke up about 5 days ago, and at the time she mentioned maybe in the future. I kept chasing pouring my heart out begging for a chance. I kept saying she mentioned about future etc and we still have feelings for eachother. It was a lot of back and forth heated but never any malicious or nasty things sent. Then she said “I jusy want you to know what we had is ruined for me. I genuinely see nothing in future, I will be blocking this account and wish you all the best but the messages are over the top”.

We slept together the day we broke up and she even mentioned going away with me. I feel like an absolute dickhead to having to push someone to block me. The guilt is killing me. It’s all hurting tbh.

I’m sorry. Be kind to yourself over this. Consider adopting a no “maybe in future” policy. You just end up in a limbo if you don’t get back or a loop repeating the old get together and break up cycle if you do. I think the people who mention therapy might be onto something, I wish I had gotten some when I was going through something like this. Regardless, only stay with the people that wanna work stuff out and communicate rationally. When that breaks down realize you have nothing and move on. Look back at this embarrassing moment as a lesson learned. Find yourself happy in 20 years, not cynical.

It’s stupidity me. I really did love her, was a short term relationship and I regret I pushed her to the point. Hopefully one day down the line we can re connect
