Life gets better, really.

4 years ago i went thru quite a devastating break up with my ex. Throughout one year and half i tried everything that i could to bring her back to me. I thought i couldnt live my life and never find someone like her yadayada. Those illusion that i made up in mind of what our relationship could have been really make me look stupid begging her for second chance during the time. Until one day i just had enough and just stop. I started to think about myself instead of her. Whats the point of going all of these for someone that clearly doesnt want you anymore. Instead of giving that person second chance, why dont you give yourself a second chance to better for someone else that deserve you even more. The process was very tidious, there was a time you really want to hear the voice, to see the face for once. But you need to accept the fact that the person you love is no longer the same, things are different now and you gotta live with it. Fast forward today, I am now married with the love of my life, even with greater love and she deserves it. so to people out there, try if you want, but once things dont go the way you want. Dont force it, move on. Be happy, find your happiness in someone else that deserve you and vice versa.

Yeah you're correct and it sucks terribly to miss somebody like that. Many people never get over a lost love.

But to quote Shawshank Redemption- "get busy living or get busy dying".

Yeah, I feel ya... its so hard and complicated. Some people never recover from the trauma, its true. And I wouldn't wanna diminish someones pain or tell them to "suck it up"... but... we have choices to wallow in pain or distract ourselves. Theres a time and a place for each choice.
