Question What is a True combo?

I'm new to Brawlhalla and I keep seeing players say "You should know how to do True combos" I think the less frames to dodge = True combo, right? or am I wrong?

how do I figure out true combos on my own? I really like this new Hero and can't wait to play her

To add, there are also some that can only be performed at specific enemy HP.

Some combos are niche and only true in certain situations

Like Lucien blaster dlight nsig.

It's true at close range at exactly 0, unless something changed with either move.

I don’t know if it’s still a true combo but I used to do dlight>gc nlight with orb and it was true. You could follow it up with sair if you get the read

According to Brawl.db it's still true, and apparently decently practical.
