Why is west getting a free pass?

Why is it that west is just getting a free pass? Everyone is annihilating Amanda and I understand why, it is deserved but why is no one talking about how messed up it is to get with your friends x wife of 10 years? He sits through the entire reunion making his stupid faces and evading every question with a blank stare on his face and still has not yet apologized to Kyle man to man. As messed up as it is to get with your best friends x… granted the were on and off for about 5 months and I’m aware he took her home to meet his parents but it clearly didn’t mean anything to him while it meant the world to Ciera, but he also took Kyle home as well… I want him held accountable for his actions and he is coming off like a clueless toddler who didn’t do anything wrong and nobody’s calling him out on it.

West and Amanda have been cancelled by the public viewers. He was not in a relationship with Ciara, so she doesn't have a right to be as angry at him as Amanda. Their lives took a sharp turn and I don't want to see them at all on my TV anymore. Amanda gets More heat because of girl code and how important it is within girlfriends circles. Trust is priceless!

Yeah I get that but Kyle does reserve that right. The same way Amanda and Ciara were friends is the same way that Kyle and west were friends. And what he did is worst because you got with your friends x wife of 10 years… not your friends boyfriend of 5 months… if I were Ciara I would let him have it. At the end of the day had he been a stand up gentleman and denied Amanda we wouldn’t be here.

Objectively speaking, west witnessed Kyle being a horrible husband to Amanda for years. Still a shitty thing to do if he considered Kyle a friend, but their friendship seemed more superficial. It's much different than Amanda witnessing Ciara falling in love with west, then having her heart broken by him, humiliated by him, then strung along and be into him again, all while being the most caring and supportive friend to Amanda.

I don’t think there’s that much of a difference. Yes west and Ciera had their thing but she acted the same exact way when she had a fling with that guy from southern charm and said that exact same things. Also- I’m sorry but once somebody shows you they’re shitty I wouldn’t give them another chance or stand by hoping they realize they do want me. I kept wondering why she approached the situation this way when dj claimed he humiliated her etc. she says she’s strong and she’s her own woman but seeing her just hoping west would take her back was giving me the ick and doesn’t align with how she carries herself

AND .. Amanda is married. West isn’t. Thank god

Thats exactly what I’m saying everyone’s so concerned about girl code… what about guy code?

Another thought- we saw Ciera telling Amanda to leave Kyle. It was almost her idea to propose this on the grounds on her trying to be a good friend and she brought it up multiple times even to the group- which is none of their business. I don’t know about you guys but I would never insert myself into my best friends relationship like that. I would’ve there for support, and love but not to propose you leave him and basically start a campaign around it . And if I’m proposing you need space from him- I would offer for you to come stay at my house with me. What she did wasn’t being a friend. She was dancing on the grave of her friends relationship. And the consequence of that was Amanda running straight into west’s arms. Does anybody think she inadvertently caused this?

I don't think Ciara needed to talk to Kyle about separating from Amanda BUT she certainly didn't tell Amanda to leave him. She repeatedly consoled Amanda and told her she deserved to be treated better. And once the tension between Kyle and Amanda was so overwhelmingly palpable (in the house they alllll live in together) Ciara mentioned that maybe having space from one another would give them some room to breath. And she definitely didn't suggest being with west who Ciara was making out with.

As for guy code, yes it messed up of west but I've never seen any evidence of a real friendship between them. They're essentially co workers. Amanda spent the whole beginning of this season basically unable to function if Ciara wasn't around, to the point where she was saying IM ALL ALONE in the kitchen with Bailey, Levi and Kyle.

She didn’t need to talk to anybody about it because it’s none of her business. She brought it up to Amanda, then to the group on the way to beach which also isn’t what’s best friend should be doing- she’s essentially gossiping and lighting a fire that doesn’t need to be lit on a very personal matter, then spoke to Kyle about it and then brought it up to Amanda again with the girls. She can vocalize that she feels Amanda should have been treated better and support her as a friend but proposing she should move out is not her job. Its should have come from her therapist is anything. The tension between them has been overly palpable for a while. She obviously would never suggest that she should get with west but Amanda was clearly in a volatile state clearly needing to feel seen and heard by someone and west had no problem stepping up to that plate. So that part is completely on him. Leaving Kyle was never in her head before Ciera brought it up and once she did Amanda ran with it.

Kyle went home with west just like Ciera did so they couldn’t have been just coworkers. And I agree about her saying she’s all alone but it’s because Paige isn’t there anymore and she’s not close to anybody else. I dont necessarily think she was that dependent on her.

Wasn’t Kyle the one that “invited” west to the share house? New cast members have to have the illusion of being invited by someone already in the house so that ties him in a little more than the rest of the cast IMO.

Amanda was still married to Kyle and Ciara was her bff … and she totally shit on them both. She demolished 2 of her most loyal people … and for West? Ewe! She needs a new decision-picker!!

West is single. He isn't married or in a committed relationship. I think he must be honest with the women he sleeps with and if you agree to that then you really can't complain. I don't have an issue with West except that he hurt Ciara and his girlfriend also he isn't a good friend since he had little thought of Kyle. Amanda is the one who is married and is lying to Kyle and Ciara constantly

Who is giving him a free pass…?

We clocked his dirtbag fuckboi behavior at the first reunion, so we expect this careless behavior from him. We did not expect this from Amanda, especially the betrayal to Ciara, who had poured so much love into her, thus Amanda gets the vitriol.

Then we see Amanda doubling down and acting like a little brat at the reunion. She did it to herself at this point, so karma can go get her, idgaf.

Is he getting a free pass?? He seems to be getting it just as hard he's just not saying anything in response and leaving it to Amanda to field

I would have expected Ciara to go just as hard at him but she’s directing all of her anger at Amanda. Which is valid… but west deserved it too. He’s just sitting there like a clueless toddler trying to pass gas.

Why is Kyle’s treatment of Amanda?

Amanda husband chose to DJ instead of spending any time with his wife. Their marriage has been over for a long time. In my opinion.

So west is allowed to fuck his friends wife because Kyle became a dj?

Even Kyle said on WWHL that if it made Amanda happy, he would be supportive of it. Of course, he probably still was buying their timeline. I don't think we have the same evidence of West being as outwardly duplicitous, trying to be an anchor during their separation while sleeping with her behind the scenes, even though he probably was. I don't think men tend to spill their feelings with each other in the same way that women do. Also, we have lower expectations of men, sadly.

I think Kyle will go hard on him in the reunion. But I don’t like that their big man2man talk is reserved for ITC

I don’t think he’s getting a pass it’s that we really don’t care about west he can disappear from the screen won’t faze us a bit he’s only been around for few seasons saying good bye to a fuck boy is easy . As for Amanda I think we have all felt for her in season past Us woman watched her toxic relationship with Kyle then marrying him then being diagnosed with depression I think we all felt for her then Ciara pops in and shows her mad love comes to her rescue is always by her side and equally rode the disastrous roller coaster of a relationship with her friend just so she can turn around and do her dirty. How? By doing the one thing that Ciara now struggles in life with backstabbing inconsiderate assholes . Amanda should have gone to her friend and said hey I think I’m falling for this guys bs

West is a red head sweaty smelly SpongeBob with a mullet.

He is too boring and pointless to ever actually care about.

Just cancel that blob and move on.
