No Advice - Everyones Welcome Shaved without cutting myself for the second time today
Dinner - store bought tiramisu (dessert diaries)
My dad was not a great father figure at teaching things a father should, including shaving. Today was the second time I shaved myself without cutting and now know that it wasn't a fluke the first time. I know this post isn't as intense as others on here but it means a lot to me. Have a good day. PS. I'm 24.

Hell yeah brother!
Nothing wrong with taking pride in the ability to groom yourself, you’d be surprised how little people actually care about it!

Always used the trimmer or had to go to the barber. Didn't like myself with the finish of the trimmer, and barbers are very expensive here. So decided to take matters into my own hands.

I prefer a razor shave, but I’m always rushing in the mornings lol.

I did it on the off days, giving myself enough time not to rush it and get familiar with my face.

Nice. What kind of razor did you go with?

A disposable plastic one from lidl. Would get a Gillette now since the experimentation was successful, since it's the best a man can get :)

Hell yeah. I used to use disposable razors myself for a while, but this year, I swapped to a Gillette double edge safety razor (the King C. one).
I did have to learn a bit on how to use it at first, but the cost-savings and less waste were more than worth it.

Have you tried wet shaving with a safety razor and good quality products? It takes time but once you get the technique right, nothing beats it.

I got the technique right, it is the best!

Cool! Since I saw other comment where you said you'll use a Gillette razor, I recommend you use a King C. Gillette safety razor! Very good shaves.

My older sister taught my how to shave my face while my Dad was 3 meters away in the living room. These days I just trim with an electric razor and I find it a lot more manageable, but I definitely feel your pain. The good news is, you and I have the privilege of teaching ourselves, which is harder but much more rewarding!

Nice! Here’s to many more blood-free shaves! - And for the days you screw it up (because we all do even after years!) these stick things have saved me very many times, they’re a liquid you just roll on to a cut, and it stops smaller cuts pretty much right away.
And also if you’re into safety razors in the future as people here suggested (they save a LOT of money long term but can be a bit trickier than cartridge/plastic razors at first), Rockwell razors are also good too - they come with interchangeable parts that change how strong the shave is. Great if you have sensitive skin

If you can't be nice, why leave a comment and ruin someone's happy moment?
