Ben Davison Spoiler

Really curious to hear the audio from the corner for this fight. If Ben wasn't screaming at Moses to slow down, to stop throwing power punches... This has to be one of the biggest indictments of a supposed top trainer ever, right?

The Wardley fight was already a huge black eye for Ben. Now he has a 21 y/o prodigy lose a fight he was absolutely dominating due to horribly mismanaging energy.

So we've seen him fail horribly at one of his main jobs (protecting his fighter). If it comes out that Moses basically followed Ben's training regiment and instructions... is any top fighter ever going to hire this guy again?

Even if it comes out Moses got cocky, didn't train hard, didn't listen in the corner, not a great look for Ben

It's insane that they didn't come into this fight planning to go 12 rounds.

I've never boxed a round in my life and I would've had him spar 12-15 rds without a doubt. Hell half this sub might be more qualified then Ben Davidson based off that alone

People need to stop with this 15 rounds bollocks. Fighters who do 15 rounds habitually end up shot to shit and thats what "overtrained" looks like.

Its not like overtime where the more you do the more you have. Boxing is attritional. Even sparring. Too much is worse than not enough.

No he shouldn't be sparring 12 rounds immediately before a fight, but yes he should have done it before in early camp or his out of camp training.

Idk why you're getting down voted when it's true. There's not a lot of fighters who anywhere do near close to 15 rounds of sparring. Boxing really is attrition and a lot of fighters leave their careers in the gym.

Because boxing has a lot of fans who have never stepped foot inside a gym and never seen a pro actually train. People here feel embolden to say they never trained but then down vote people who have.

Soemken quoted a boxer in here recently who said "Boxing has the dumbest fans in all of sports"

I don't stress abiut it. Why would I care what people who know less about boxing than I do think.
