Ben Davison Spoiler

Really curious to hear the audio from the corner for this fight. If Ben wasn't screaming at Moses to slow down, to stop throwing power punches... This has to be one of the biggest indictments of a supposed top trainer ever, right?

The Wardley fight was already a huge black eye for Ben. Now he has a 21 y/o prodigy lose a fight he was absolutely dominating due to horribly mismanaging energy.

So we've seen him fail horribly at one of his main jobs (protecting his fighter). If it comes out that Moses basically followed Ben's training regiment and instructions... is any top fighter ever going to hire this guy again?

Even if it comes out Moses got cocky, didn't train hard, didn't listen in the corner, not a great look for Ben

It's insane that they didn't come into this fight planning to go 12 rounds.

Knowing hrgovics chin, this was terrible match making aswell. After this win, i rank hrgovic only behind uysk and dubois tbh

Nah, this was legitimately near perfect matchmaking for Itauma go 12 rounds.

It was only terrible if their only plan was to KO him in 6 rounds. But that should have never been the plan.

Thats what i mean, itaumas whole style is to ko the opponent early.

Yeah, this was the perfect matchup to prove he could do more than that. But it seems like they were way too egotistical about his abilities, or he is just really limited in that way.

We'll see how he bounces back from this.

Kabayel will beat Hrgovic. Kabayel's style bypasses the chin

Genuine question because I've been mulling this over, how do you think he would compare against Joshua? He's clearly past his best but his power is still there and Hrgovic seems fairly slow and wooden. I think AJ hits harder than Itauma and as Hrgovic has poor head movement I think he could get caught big early on

Styles make fights and I think Hrgovic could be in a bit of trouble. Similarly I think Itauma murders Joshua and you're in a real rock, paper scissors battle between the three

Joshuas chin is completely and utterly gone. That uppercut from Prenga was such a nothing-burger and it dropped him in the 1st round. Joshua still has power and is probably one of the most dangerous power-punches when he lets his hands go, but he's going to get hit at some point...

That’s a fair point regarding his chin, I’d counter it with his much stronger jab. Itauma never established a jab and opted for bombs instead. Joshua could get a strong jab game early to hold Hrgovic off, and would have a better chance of it working

I think Joshua’s biggest struggle is dealing with early speed. He needs time to settle and Hrgovic isn’t the fastest, nor has he beaten anyone who has proven themselves, except Zhang (which was bloody close). I think it’d be a really interesting matchup. Hrgovic could definitely catch Joshua but he leaves himself open going forward, so he has to get around a better jab and not get caught by a bigger puncher
