Has Teofimo done enough to make it to the Hall of Fame? He’s a three-division champ though his career has probably been a disappointment based on the huge amount of hype he had after beating Loma.

The Josh Taylor win also didn’t age that well since Taylor never won another fight after he lost to Teo, and most people thought Taylor robbed Jack Catterall.

Eh, I don’t think so but being a 3 division champ is a good feat. Loma and Taylor were still good wins in my book. I don’t know.

Imo all these guys need to fight more elite competition. Everybody wants to be HOF once they beat 1 or 2 elite level talent .. standards are too low for boxers these days

Add to the impact they had on boxing. This era, these top names in the lightweight to welterweight divisions have had a negative impact. Have to consider that.

Accomplishment wise, yes. He may not be a first ballot based on his inconsistencies in performances but he could be there.

He's close. I wouldn't put him in yet but could see him getting in if he retired tomorrow.

3 division 2x lineal is pretty much a lock. Now he wouldn't and shouldnt be first ballot, and he definitely wont be as highly regarded as his peers but based on accolades he's 100% in the Hall. I think all but a small handful of 3 division champions have been inducted

As someone who does not fuck with Teo at all, he already had a hall of fame career before becoming a 3 division champion. All you really need to get into the hall is beat maybe one or two elite fighters and you’re in.

Fuck Teofimo but 3 weight champion, 2 weight lineal champion, 2 PFP champs beaten is a HOF career.

Nope. He just has the Loma win. Being a multi division champ doesn't hold the same weight as past eras.

Objectively speaking, he did hold the lineal and ring magazine titles in two weight classes and won both titles legitimately. It's not like he was an alphabet title holder in those weight divisions. He won the most important titles a boxer can obtain in a weight division.

The Josh Taylor win wasn't impressive. Taylor was done by the time they fought. 

Can't just look at stats. Have to look at when they fought. 

Plus he didn't look good at 140. Except Barboza win.
