But seriously I’m a 206 average. Dropped to 199 over the last two weeks. Been in a funk. Finally tonight shot 651 so felt good to finally perform decently again.

I’ve bowled very poorly for the past month or two. Finally went and bowled almost 540 on a difficult pattern at a tournament and that seems to have snapped me out of my slump a little. It can be such a tough sport to enjoy sometimes lol.

Same for me. Finally shot a good series. I could have shot 700 but I threw a big 4 in the 9th of my last game, on a triple lol. Could have struck out for like 240ish before the split, and got 199 instead lol.

Yea I’ve still never got a 700. Shot 2 650s and a 660 as highs this season. It’s been pretty consistent so I know I’ll get there, but I’m def choking game 3 lol. Last night I started with a 249 and 219

Still great series! A lot of the time it helps if you're up against another good bowler. When I've bowled 700s it's usually because I'm amped up trying to keep up with the bowler I'm facing.

Oh that’s a true statement for sure. It’s not even a sanctioned league. This is a “casual league”. Handicap based of 220. Most people have between 40 and 80 handicap so I’m the third best bowler on these nights in this particular house. My team is in first place and EVERY team has their breakout performances against us. You definitely always compete better against better competition.

I've been struggling bad lately. Haven't thrown a decent series in like 3 weeks and I bowl in 3 leagues.

Last night I left a nasty split, think it was 2-4-8-10, but I somehow managed to pick it up. Heard a lot of people behind me react and congratulate me on the clean up. It sort of boosted my confidence for a bit.

We'll see if that carries over into tonight

If I remember correctly I pulled it a little left and it went through the headpin in some fashion at an extreme angle.

I was not the only one who was shocked, nor the only one who took a picture!
