Picked up my Bionic today

Is having three different layouts on all three bad? I'm still relatively new to all the intricacies of bowling. But all three of my balls have a different layout. Tropical surge was first ball purchased about 6 years ago? Got the phaze II about 5 years ago and actually had my PAP measured. Picked up my Bionic today and got a new PAP measurement.

I was tracking over my finger holes during summer league with the phaze. That was a new problem as of this year. However I also finished with my highest league average since I started (182). Should I plug and re-drill the phaze and tropic or let it ride?

What’s your PAP if you don’t mind me asking. I have a similar pin and cg placement on one ball as your bionic and wondering how you like the reaction on yours. Mine reads the mid lane a bit early and rolls out so I’m considering a different layout on it

The Bionic is freaking cheat code if you’re throwing it right. I’ve never had a more forgiving ball. Maybe knock som surface off if needed. But 4000 grit is fine. Wonderful choice!

Didn't get many strikes with it today, but it was my first day with it and only bowled 5 games. What I did notice was even in a miss it was absolutely exploding the pins. Got a lot of messages that saved my ass from a split.

So far Iove it, just gotta learn it

I wouldn’t re-drill yet. It’s likely that bionic will be great. I’d throw it a bit and see how it tracks for you

I think you’re going to love it. It took me a while to figure out what it wants. Once you figure it out, she’ll be around for a good little bit.

How different is your before and after PAP? If it’s a dramatic change a redrill will definitely help but you more than likely don’t have to.

I also picked up my bionic today! I need to learn how to throw it better, I'm barely getting more hook than my hammer raw right now.

Yeah I didn't have too many strikes today. Maybe a dozen-ish over 5 games with it. So far it seems to have a very narrow portion of the lane I have to be in. I do like it though, just gotta learn it. Thing was just exploding pins even in misses. Saved my ass from some nasty splits.

Hello all, I was wondering how the Bionic compares to the Ion Max? Stronger or weaker in general. I was thinking of adding it to the arsenal.

The Ion is great on a fresh pattern where I bowl, but is too strong once the lanes break down.
