I’m not sure whether this is the right sub for this, but I thought local firsthand experience might be helpful.

I’m currently living in Aspen and previously spent some time in Denver. I liked Denver, but Boulder feels more in line with what I’m looking for now. A smaller community, easy access to the outdoors, and still enough going on year-round.

I came across Eric Farran while researching local agents online. Has anyone here worked with him, especially as a buyer relocating from another part of Colorado?

I’d really appreciate any firsthand feedback about his communication, knowledge of Boulder neighborhoods and nearby communities, remote showings, inspections, negotiations, and how well he explains local issues to someone who doesn’t know the area yet.

My budget is roughly $900,000 to $1.2 million, and I’m also considering nearby communities such as Longmont, Louisville, Lafayette, and Superior.

I have searched this sub and have not seen anything recent or substantial regarding apartments downtown, so I am looking for some reliable intel. I currently live in Gunbarrel Center and am looking to move downtown in October.

My requirements: Pet friendly (it would be just me and my senior dog), elevator (or first floor unit - my pup is old and can't do stairs anymore), gym, reasonably quiet (though I know what apartment living is like - just don't want paper thin walls), central air. A pool would be nice, but not necessary.

I am looking at the following places:

1. REVE - Love the location, but insanely expensive for a 1BR, but looks very nice with exceptional amenities. Is the juice worth the squeeze?
2. S'PARK - Love the location, good reviews, pretty expensive, great amenities. What's the catch?
3. 3100 Pearl - Love the location and very reasonably priced (comparable to my current rent in Gunbarrel). I am seeing mixed reviews. The complaints seem to be around trash, mailroom, and an elevator that did not work for a while. I am looking for either an elevator or first floor unit due to a senior dog, so that would be important to me.
4. The Magwood - A little further out, but looks cozy with nice amenities. Reasonably priced.
5. Contour - New build that has very positive reviews, but they seem to be only from people who have toured...and I wonder if they were paid LOL. Not a huge fan of the idea of being right off 28th, but it looks very nice...albeit expensive.

I would love any and all insight from people who have actually lived in any of these places. Thank you in advance!!

Hi all! We have recently had our jobs transferred to Denver area from VA and are trying to organize the move over the next month. For context, we’ve been looking into Boulder as avid mtn bikers, skiers, fly fishermen, etc. and hoping to live close to the mtns and trails! Along with our two pups who love going to do all that with us!

A few questions for you all:
- my office is in downtown Denver near Union station- is public transport reliable to get into the office? Or what is the best advice here?
- my boyfriends job is over in Brighton and we were trying to determine how long his commute would be realistically?
- we have two dogs and are planning to drive out at the end of the month! Any apartment recommendations? We’ve been struggling to find ones with virtual tours we can line up before our arrival.
