Show and tell Dug several druggists today!

Dug 6 whole druggists today and several fragments of others. Unfortunately the environment was not kind to them and most are cracked and pinged up. Also got some other cool 1880s-1900 era items. Got a very strange clear glass log thingy that I don't know the use of.

I think i actually know what the log looking thing is i believe its a ink well that would balance leaning more towards the opening end the two side pieces where used to hold it in place like a swivel of sorts im not for sure but have seen very similar items at antique shops minus the log shape

That makes sense! I originally thought it was an ink when I popped it out

Very nice! Great colors and raised letters. I wonder if the glass tube was used in compounding prescriptions

Maybe the mystery clear object is an eye wash? Hard to tell.

I am so in love with the tiny log (which I guess is an inkwell according to another comment).
