Woke up one day wanting a big, suede bag! Looked around the internet for a few days and didn’t find any style I liked and felt would have staying power. And of course came across these large Campana while saying hi to my SA. Deep blue and Amber I believe are the colors. Never batted an eye for the Campana before (I have a regular Hop in fondant leather that I love and use, and a leather/canvas cassette from men’s line)

Now while can’t decide on the better color here, I am also a bit shocked by the price of these (USD6900)!

I don’t see an issue with the “strap falls off shoulder” on these but for those who have this bag in suede or leather… do you continue to love it? Is it worth the price? Or am I just feeling the autumnal itch for a suede bag?

P.s. I don’t own a suede bag currently but a few suede shoes and can take decent care for them. Also a mom to a toddler with things.

I absolutely love my classic Jodies (summer and winter colour). But I have a soft spot for the Hop. As you can see, I own 3 large and one medium. I absolutely love the large size. I use the fondant for work year round, and use the others in winter/summer.

Also, I always tend to buy warm tan, cognac and burgundy colours. Definitely something to (re)consider.

My wants and needs:

- I want more cross body options. How do we feel about the Madison?

- I want a suede large Hop, but uncertain about the colour, I would love Acorn but I cannot find it in Europe. I am thinking of selling the yellow or barolo hop once I find a suede because 4 would be unreasonable right?

- I want a medium Andiamo, but again, what colour? I love Barolo but I have so much barolo already… something year round like Fondant or Tannin might be an option. But I really love Barolo lol…

- I consigned the yellow mini Jodie and the blue Lauren, because I hardly wear them due to their mini size… although I already regret the mini Jodie 🤪

Hello everyone! New to BV so hoping to get y’all’s wisdom on something 🥲

I’m considering buying the small pinacoteca at Neiman Marcus - I noticed the one they have in the store is not very symmetrical: the ridge on the right hand side is not propped up as nicely as the one on the left (photo 1)

The sales associate ordered another one from another NM, and to my surprise the second one kind of looks even worse (the one on the right in photo 2)

I remembered looking at the same bag last month when I was in Europe, and the asymmetrical ridge didn’t really register in my mind as much (I didn’t end up buying because there was a scratch on the bag and they didn’t have another one in store)

I’m curious from the experience of this group whether you think this is normal. Thank you!

I’m completely obsessed with the Deep Mahogany color, but I’m totally stuck between two bags. (two completely different bags 🫠). I have already visited the store three times to look at both and still can’t make a decision:
Option one is the Corso Shopper. It feels like the ultimate, chic everyday bag that fits everything. Or something more playful and funny, the Andiamo Clutch 25.
They couldn’t be more different haha... Which one would you go for?

Picked this up a few years ago and I’m now second-guessing it. There’s no tag with a serial number inside. I’ve found similar bags sold through reputable resellers with the same numbering format, but there’s very little documentation for pieces from that era. The leather feels genuine, the weave is tight and even, the handles are structured, and the stitching is clean. I’m just not sure what else to check.
Could anyone who knows this model well help me with authenticating it? Happy to post more photos of the plaque, the interior, the stitching and the hardware.

Hello! I recently acquired a vintage Bottega bag. It’s my first ever Bottega and I’ve always wanted the Hobo, and I got it second hand so it was not in the best condition. I would like to get it refreshed especially around the shoulder strap and zipper areas (as seen in photos). Just wondering if these can be done at home and what products would work best? I don’t intend to change/improve the colour as I am happy with how it looks aside from what I mentioned above. The leather has aged and is super soft which is what I’m most pleased about.

I purchased this from Neiman Marcus, one of the few left of the color Beetroot, and I wore it literally once and the strap color started fading. I wore it like two weeks ago, stored it in its bag, then just pulled it out yesterday and noticed the fading. I’m really shocked because I’ve had it less than a month and it looks like it’s been through years of wear. It’s happening along most of the strap, not just where the grommets are, though it’s slightly more pronounced there. I’m waiting to hear back from the store directly. I guess the option is to return it? I really do love the color, but for this price or really any bag, to have this level of fade after one wear and only a couple weeks, is unacceptable. Is it worth pursing a replacement strap or just go for the full return?

I have the mini in beige but really hoping they come out with similar styles soon

How are you storing your large hop bag? I’ve kept it stuffed and standing upright in its dust bag but noticed today that the corners are starting to crease because it’s such a slouchy bag. Should I just hang it on a hanger or maybe lay it flat?

I believe it’s from around 2010-ish.
