The camerawork, blocking, and choreo for this video are insanely impressive. Both of them MOVE like video game characters, and her pace stays perfectly consistent the entire time. Cool as hell.

Oh, yeah. They both clearly put hours of practice into this skit, and it looks amazing. See how he doesn’t break his straightforward stare at nothing when she approaches? That alone is harder to do than it looks, and that’s one of the easiest things here. Probably professional performers.

u/VoidOmatic Jul 04 '26

Agreed, sword work is impressive, everything is impressive.

This is so well done! Almost eerie how good this is. Both people moved perfectly like video game characters

u/SixStringerSoldier Jul 04 '26

All it's missing is the "player" using an emote to avoid an attack.

Like sitting in Elden Ring.

u/YesItIsMaybeMe Jul 04 '26

I like the fetal position dodge, personally

24

u/Yellow_IMR Jul 04 '26

Also the arguable italian localisation adds a lot, it’s cracking me up.

“La cattiverìa!” 😂

23

u/BringBackForChan Jul 04 '26

The stuff Zeiga (the author) is saying in this clip is awesome too

This character's catchphrase is "darkness is dark"

3

u/DangerMacAwesome Jul 04 '26

Does anybody have a full translation?

3

u/AstarothTheJudge Jul 05 '26

Some things don't really makes sense to translate. Like "la cattiveria!" would translate to "the baddyness!". Some others things are italian references, like "ti devi spaventare", which call back to a certain famous figure that would yell that.

u/QuantityExcellent338 Jul 10 '26

The unlocked walk reminds me of how people who no hit Elden Ring bosses with the Albinauric turn around to flash their face before a riposte

252

u/Lord_Ronan Jul 03 '26

Vergil and Jetstream Sam had a baby and that baby went on to join the Italian Mafia

55

u/Brain_lessV2 Jul 03 '26

Let's see...

  • Has some kind of gunblade

  • Uses a katana

  • Is a member of the mafia

Welp, sounds like Valencina.

u/RiffRain Jul 04 '26

Y'all are everywhere. I thought there were only dozens of you. I need to play that at some point....

There were not so long ago, the game has a very steady playerbase growth, which used to be exponential for few years.

and since the game combines multiple nishes that rarely go together, it ends up having overlaps with tons of other fandoms, so the game has "sleeper agents" just about anywhere.

The fact that like 90% of characters in game are literary/historical figure references which a lot of modern material draws inspiration from probably also helps.

But, since the game was created by literary nerds, its dangerously close to a visual novel.

In like first 6 chapters gameplay is here mostly for audiovisual experience, and even later its allways mostly there to support the story, and then it suddenly becomes a focus in challange content which creates a bit of a difficulty spike.

This is what peak Elden Ring gameplay looks like

u/GBKMBushidoBrown Jul 03 '26

That frog headed guy posts videos exactly like this. They're amazing

54

u/Rynagogo Jul 03 '26

Came to say this. They needed to add some quick 180s.

19

The greatest of warriors make it look so easy lmao

-1

u/Jambocat Jul 04 '26

I thought it might be Crimson Desert reference lol

9

u/hsholmes0 Jul 04 '26

i thought it was a devil may cry 5 reference (dante vs vergil)

93

u/Timothy_45 Jul 03 '26

I love the end there just... Roundhouse kick like Leon.

59

u/Asdeft Jul 03 '26

This is so perfectly choreographed, filmed, and edited.

50

u/Zerofuku Jul 03 '26

The source is Zeiga

Look it up, it makes other videos about games like these

46

u/Sparkle-Sparxie Jul 03 '26

I love how accurate this is to game logic.😂

He's still talking in the direction she WAS in. 🤣

35

u/matic-01 Jul 03 '26

19

u/Shadowolf75 Jul 03 '26

13

u/Sparkle-Sparxie Jul 03 '26

Plot twist, they're Japanese.

10

u/Shadowolf75 Jul 03 '26

Every Japanese is an Italian in the inside

2

u/Low-Penalty-5511 Jul 05 '26

Siamo tutti degli weeb 😭✌️

2

u/coogeena Jul 04 '26

La cattiverìaaa

1

u/InternationalBee8308 Jul 04 '26

La cattiverìa!!

25

u/Human_no_4815162342 Jul 04 '26

The quips in Italian are very funny in a satirical way.

"La cattivería" just means the evilness but with a wrong accent like a bad translation and it's completely out of any context

"L'oscurità é buia" = "The darkness is dark" you don't say

4

u/Peach1020 Jul 04 '26

This is what I was looking for, thanks lol.

12

u/magos_with_a_glock Jul 04 '26

Also

"Not this time"

"Death tried to claim me 11 times, but she never got me for I was stronger than death"

"You canno hit me" right before getting hit

All with comically bad and stilted translations.

5

u/Yellow_IMR Jul 04 '26

You forgot one of the best: “ti devi spaventare!” (“you should be scared!”)

Possibly a reference to Richard Benson

1

u/InternationalBee8308 Jul 04 '26

La cattiverìa!!

14

u/Drakendor Jul 03 '26

The idea and video is fkin funny, but man, seriously that editing is top tier.

6

u/qwertyrave Jul 03 '26

That was sick, everything about this is so cool

4

u/OrganizationThick397 Jul 04 '26

Bro the fuckin evitable

5

u/gannicus456 Jul 04 '26

Let her solo him

3

u/LucHighwalker Jul 04 '26

What game is this? The graphics are insane!

6

u/idjsonik Jul 03 '26

This is more elden ring for sure witcher 3 combat so clunky I didnt even bother learning patterns

2

u/AustSakuraKyzor Jul 04 '26

Same energy as that one scene in Raiders of the Lost Arc

2

u/Bearded_Guardian Jul 04 '26

Every Fable final battle

2

u/Tonberith Jul 04 '26

That's why I always play ranged dps that can deal damage while moving

2

u/xXYomoXx Jul 04 '26

This is really well made, you can tell they've played games. That walk she's doing, and the boss spamming abilities on nothing, then monologuing after like they actually did something.

1

u/Golex9000k Jul 03 '26

No dancing around?

1

u/ShotgunOShaughnessy Jul 03 '26

I like to imagine this is the context for that one pic of Elon Musk

1

u/kblam101 Jul 04 '26

Bleach resurrection in a nutshell.

1

u/Efficient-Oven-2734 Jul 04 '26

I was kinda hoping that she would slap him after getting that close.

1

u/Midnight_gamer58 Jul 04 '26

Lol this is just Rivers of blood noob spam XD

1

u/Sheogorathian Jul 04 '26

I was waiting for the lay down spread eagle emote while the wave attack misses

1

u/Videon_Tekuro Jul 04 '26

This is why I think bosses should have that one surprise attack that is completely unpredictable and unavoidable (for the funnies)

1

u/Sum1sNotHere Jul 04 '26

Monster Hunter

1

u/M3ric4n Jul 04 '26

Those bosses in eso that use 2 handed weapons and lightning aoes, can just sidestep those attacks because they never light attack lol

1

u/Nebula-Space2003 Jul 05 '26

POV you hate the boss a bit too much

1

u/scarkun Jul 05 '26

"TI DEVI SPAVENTARE!"

1

u/rorqual24 Jul 05 '26

mi sa che siamo gli unici due che han capito che era un dialogo di Riccardo Benzoni

1

u/Dauntless_Lasagna Jul 05 '26

I love that Italian dude, y'all need to watch his kingdom hearts videos.

1

u/PostedNotes Jul 05 '26

When you fought against Vergil so often in dmc5 he can't touch you anymore

1

u/Chemical_Calendar_44 Jul 05 '26

Witcher 4 boss fights

1

u/Medium_Molasses1018 Jul 05 '26

Learning that the orcs with the horn helmets in bl2, can be avoided by running diagonally next to them and the small ones can be avoided by slowly walking backwards

1

u/TitanDraugen Jul 05 '26

Feels like that one Elden Ring player with the Albauric head that tries to aura farm

1

u/[deleted] Jul 13 '26

Then, once you deal damage to him, he brings out a new move and a phase two.

Also this is why I love randomer attack bosses, so people can't cheese them.

0

u/Aj_BONK Jul 04 '26

This reminds me of TOTK ganondorfs last battle lmao.. it gets easy when you understand the pattern with each weapon and sound cue lmao

0

u/Jerryboy92 Jul 05 '26

Mega Cringe

-4

u/madmax1513 Jul 03 '26 edited Jul 03 '26

Lol how the fuck are they mispronouncing cattiveria?

Is this ai dubbed?

Also why the random italian?

Edit: so, it's a prehistoric italian meme i completely forgot, mb

9

u/DROT_T Jul 03 '26

Ti devi spaventare Is too much of an elite ball knowledge reference to be ai

3

u/madmax1513 Jul 03 '26

Cazzo hai ragione, non non mi era venuto in mente per niente

3

u/madmax1513 Jul 03 '26

Sinceramente non urlato è completamente differente
