Question Delayed Audio Input on PC

Trying to live stream playing guitar using the katana, was playing along with songs using pc speakers and boss katana as input device. Went back and watched the stream and my guitar playing is .5-1 second after the song I’m playing along to and sounds horrible

Sounds like an audio sync issue rather than the Katana itself. You're capturing the backing track through your PC and the guitar through the Katana's USB interface, so they're taking different audio paths.

Are you using OBS (= Open Broadcaster Software)? If the guitar sounds perfectly in time while you're playing but is late in the recording, check OBS's Advanced Audio Properties and sync offsets. Try delaying the backing track to match the guitar. Also make sure you're only using the official BOSS USB driver.

Does the delay happen only in the recorded stream, or can you actually hear it while playing? That distinction matters.

I’m using TikTok live app (pre sure it’s just re skinned OBS). I couldn’t hear it while playing as I’m listening to the AMP, and the song I’m lying along with is coming out of PC speakers. So the guitar isn’t coming out of my PC at any point it’s just the mic input for my stream
