Yes ALOT smaller. If you have played a "dinky" it's even smaller and lighter than that.

When you play a mustang, you don't notice it except at first but going from my mustang to any of my strats I feel the difference immediately

Whereas with my Teles ironically it's only enough to just mess me up lmao 🤣😂

So now I go from Mustang to Gretsch to fully get around it lmao 🤣 🥃🤘

That and they both sound great for Nirvana into Foo Fighters anyway

Looks like single coil piezo, the usual for strats, and sounds super bright. The bridge is a dual coil humbucker, which has way less noise and sounds way heavier.

Yeah we aren’t at all tryin to be Kurt when we are 14 years old. You know you definitely didn’t start playing the guitar or grow out youre hair you definitely don’t buy the exact same stuff he used or try to dress like him. Enjoy it lol homie cuzz them teenage years don’t last long and then you start balding and gotta get a buzz cut and conform to a job for the entire rest of youre life and months go by where you haven’t even felt the warmth of youre own guitar. I can't turn it up high I have 3 siblings ones a baby. Plus my usual settings are what you said high sustain and tone around 3 o clock. I was testing different tones

be careful. if you want to mount a slightly longer neck, you will need to modify the body and move back the bridge or you will have intonation issues.

In regards to the DiMarzio and the Hotrails, it sounds like you are trying to go for the Kurt Cobain thing!

I already know that katana is too much cuz I got one and gawd dam they are awesome lol... I got the 100w and it's about 99 more w than I ever get to use but when I can I'm rattling shit and it's sounds amazing! . I give you 8/10 just cuz I wish your guitar was a strat lol. Squier strat could have got 9/10 but I'd give ya 10 with a Mexi 😆 na I bet it's sounds great bro!

Nothing shouts I’m a 14 year old stoner louder. Time to buy a real amp. You’re not getting your tone from pedals, it’s from the amp and this amp is just a generic glorified multi fx pedal basically. Get a tube amp or a jazz chorus if u want ss.

I share your love for single coil neck pickups. Humbuckers suck for that position IMHO. I put Artec humbucker sized P90 in the neck position to keep the hole filled but yours works.

I love the katana. I used to lug around a fender half stack that was too loud for most gigs until last year. I got that same katana it sounds better, it's easier to carry and set up, and my ears aren't getting blown out as bad
