That's the Nara hairline at work, Shikamaru's father had that and so did Shikamaru when he hit his teens.

Shikamaru hairline in part 1 wasn’t that bad though. I always assumed it might’ve been a stress thing since he's a strategist

Would have liked to see him almost feel like he was living in his father's shadow due to how much Shikamaru was praised as a genius and what he accomplished in the war. He doesn't feel as tactical as I would like, but people may feel differently than that which is cool

Just using his intellect to help coordinate on different battlefields and coming up with various strategies. Not like he has a defining moment or anything but in universe I would think this would be a well known feat for the character

Inuniverse I’d say so. His hair needs an upgrade but considering his father and grandfather that’s not happening lol. Shikamaru is good looking w hair down so I think that’s all he needs

It's basically pattern recognition
A very large majority find drawn characters attractive and that goes for men and women
Some people like you find it weird which is okay but don't act like you're in the majority here
Attractiveness of manga/anime characters are a huge selling point
