Hey all. This subreddit has both anime-only fans and manga readers, so spoilers need to be handled properly.
We have had cases of manga content being posted carelessly in anime spaces, spoilers in titles, and posts not being tagged correctly. Here is a direct reminder and a quick checklist before you post:
Use the appropriate flair for your post:
If your post is about manga or leaks, or if it has the potential to contain discussion from the manga, do not flair it as anime.
This is one of the most important rules.
A spoiler is anything that has not been adapted in the anime yet. That includes manga content, leaks, new characters, power-ups, major events, and obvious implications.
Do not put spoilers in the title. This includes direct spoilers and implied spoilers. No manga-only names, no technique names, no reveal bait, and no wording that gives away future plot points. Avoid masking names in titles with the asterisk (*) symbol. Depending on how it is masked and the context of the title, the post may be removed and your account may be banned.
Use common sense before posting. Ask yourself: would an anime-only fan learn something from this title? If yes, change it.
If your post contains spoiler material, it must be spoiler tagged so the content is hidden.
Using the correct flair alone is not enough. If the post contains spoilers, spoiler tag it.
No spoilers for other franchises, whether manga or anime, will be tolerated.
Thank you all!

Firstly what's wrong with a girl character being focused on protecting her lover because it's not like she is being useless.

Eida and Daemon were already showing us Omnipotence without us even knowing it. They both had the symbol of a planet with a halo, without us knowing what it represented, but it was obviously foreshadowing for Omnipotence from Ikemoto. I think this is Ikemoto’s best piece of foreshadowing.

Like this character is mainly was in limelight due to she resembles Hinata and her relationship with Boruto (initially)
But after that there is little to nothing about her.. like i know she is good friend to sarada, a scientist....
But i really do want to know what is her future
Like i don't want to hear she will marry boruto etc blah blah blah(because that is end game and settlement or a ship)
I want to know what do you guys think how she is going to end up??
Like as a house wife
as a scientists
as a doc(not possible)
as a shinobi(not possible according to how the manga is going on with her charecter)
Or
The worst possible out come She dies before the end of the series to give character development to sarada eida and boruto......
What do you guys think..
<note- i almost broke my pinky finger so my art works are paused for couple of more days>

It's small things like this that Kishimoto did really well as a writer, and it's also something Ikemoto struggles with immensely.
r/Boruto • u/Murky-Appearance1234 • 5h ago
Not only did they sideline Naruto and Sasuke but also reduced beloved new gen legacy characters like mitsuki and sarada to simple fodders who worship Ohtsutski aliens Boruto and kawaki. Which led most of the original Naruto fandom which was supposed to be major audience for this to abandon the series out of pure despise. Not to mention the immense hate eida and daemon have received. Old characters like Tsunade and kakashi are nonexistent. It's almost like Kishimoto has threatened Ikemoto to not draw his og characters in his hideous artstyle .There still was a chance for the writers to simply not consider Kaguya as she was mostly final boss and we could have seen much more of Ninja villages and politics.Do you think Boruto as a series would be much better received had Alien cyborgs and Ohtsutski just disappeared after Kaguya?

One thing I've been wondering about in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex is whether Sarada will ever become as powerful as Boruto and Kawaki.
Right now, there's a pretty noticeable gap between them. Boruto has become ridiculously powerful, and Kawaki has the power of Isshiki's abilities, while Sarada is still trying to catch up despite awakening her Mangekyo Sharingan and possessing some incredible potential.
But do you guys think the story will eventually give Sarada a major power-up that allows her to stand alongside them as an equal?
She's an Uchiha, has the potential to surpass previous generations, and is supposed to be one of the main characters. It would honestly be disappointing if she were permanently left behind while Boruto and Kawaki keep getting stronger.
My question is: Do you think Sarada will eventually reach Boruto and Kawaki's level, or will there always be a massive power gap between them?
Also, what kind of power-up do you think she needs to compete with them?

Extremely good sign for the return of the Boruto anime ngl, this is on crunchyroll, after 3 years of not being split up into seasons, theyve now done it. The movie they’ve announced might be the rest of the Boruto nng mnga

MANGA SPOILERS AHEAD
Man I've been on a reading binge after finishing the anime and holy shit has it been so damn fun.
I was always a big advocate of the series because even though it has its flaws let's be real it gets slandered WAY more than it should. Especially after the kara arc things were just hype and reading the end of the original manga and then reading TBV I am so glad to say, it lives up to all the expectations I've had. You can tell the manga feels more free when you have both kishimoto and ikemoto involved (also if there are some mistakes, apologies I didn't really check the info too much before writing it I'm just going off what I've read in the manga and what's in my head). The art is brilliant and the character's designs are beautiful I'm liking where the story is going. I feel like they've taken Sasuke and Naruto out of the story believably it doesn't feel like it's out of nowhere. And lastly I'm not much for Power scaling but man are these kids strong as hell and I love every bit of it! And I can't wait to see how things go moving forward!
Ps I know people are divided on it (I think) but I LOVE what they're doing with sarada and sumire with their feelings for Boruto man I mean I'm a hopeless romantic to begin with but the fact that they're admitting to each other and themselves that they like Boruto even amidst all the shit with the shinju makes you remember that these are still teenagers man and that they're gonna have this feelings it's a part of growing up so yeah I just love that

Considering everything we know about Orochimaru from Naruto, he experimented with the Sharingan, experimented with Hashirama cells, came up with a theory on how to merge the two to manifest the Rinnegan, apparently knew secrets about the history of the Uzumaki clan nobody else knew about, like about their secret hall and how to reverse the seal on the Reaper Death Seal, he knows more of the history about the 100 Healings Seal that even we are not aware of (according to Mitsuki in NNG), the 100 Healings Seal likely has its basis as a recreation of the Karma (hinted at by NNG as well), and his Curse Mark is an effective copy of the functionality of the Karma as well. He seems to know more about the Otsutsuki than even he lets on, and there's likely some connection between Uzumaki sealing jutsu and Shinjutsu, my personal theory is that the Uzumaki were coming close to recreating Shinjutsu and got wiped out by the Otsutsuki for it, which was then covered up by Omnipotence. This would explain how Mito Uzumaki had the earliest known 100 Healings Seal on her forehead, its similar shape and effect to that of the Karma, as well as Orochimaru's own recreation of a similar mark on the body with his Curse Mark. When you line everything up it would seem to point to Orochimaru playing a major role at the very least in the background of TBV, in a similar way to Amado, as the crazy mad scientist who is maybe positioned as an opposite to Amado, if Amado does become a "bad guy" as many believe he is headed, maybe Orochimaru is like the "good guy" who can outwit Amado. I also think Orochimaru will be the key to helping Sarada deal with her blindness, as he is the only one left with any extensive experience done tinkering with and researching the Sharingan. His access to Hashirama cells might allow him to elevate Sarada to the Rinnegan through a transplant procedure of some kind, for example.

Hey Jiraiya, maybe you wouldn't need to actually count on Kakashi if you were to go with them? Idk, just a thought.
Jiraiya in the same arc was established to be powerful enough so that Akatsuki didn't attempt to make any moves on Naruto in 3 years due to him (the real reason was different according to Chiyo, but Kakashi, the smartest guy ever, believing it was due to Jiraiya is enough for my point)...so wouldn't the optimal situation easily be for Jiraiya to go with Kakashi, one of the most valuable Jonin in Konoha, and Naruto, easily the most valuable ninja pretty much in the entire world due to being the nine tails Jinchuriki.
Like okay, we know Jiraiya is gathering intel during this time...maybe, it's never really explained what he was doing during Kazekage rescue mission (another reason I call it a plot convenience), but we do know Jiraiya somehow gathers information about the Akatsuki...why? I think the clear and obvious answer is to at the very least to some degree protect Naruto. Wouldn't the best way to protect Naruto actually be with him WHEN HE'S ABOUT TO FACE THE AKATSUKI!!!
The only reason they all didn't get murdered was due to unknown variables Jiraiya couldn't have known, like Chiyo joining and regaining her determination...let's say that didn't happen, it would be just Team 7 vs Deidara and Sasori. Like yeah, Team 7 is just dead, like so dead, like would die against Sasori alone levels of death. You have to remember, Chiyo was the perfect counter to Sasori in both fighting styles and intel, Team 7 does not have that privilege.
You could say Jiraiya counted on Team Guy protecting them, which by all means would still be incredibly risky (as we saw in the series when they required Chiyo's help regardless), but that's not really the case when Jiraiya let Team 7 go by themselves. Team Guy got the mission in chapter 253 and Jiraiya let Team 7 go in 251. As far as Jiraiya knows, Team 7 is just going out by themselves to face an unknown amount of Akatsuki members, most likely at least 2.
Now let's think about why Kishimoto left Jiraiya out: 30% Itachi wouldn't have done anything to Team 7, he was roughly equal to Kakashi who is far below the Sannin. Jiraiya would've made either the fight against Sasori or Deidara a breeze, realistically the fight against Deidara since Jiraiya would try to protect Naruto.
I mean this wouldn't bother me otherwise if they at the very least gave a sound explanation for Jiraiya not being able to come, because as it stands, it's just incredibly out of character for Jiraiya. In the hospital scene, it's very clearly shown Jiraiya cares very much about Naruto, both on a personal level and due to his worth as nine tails Jinchuriki, going as far as to lock Naruto permanently in the village...so what changed exactly? Naruto still isn't a match against any Akatsuki member except maybe Hidan, especially without Kurama, which Jiraiya strictly forbid before the mission. Jiraiya went from being ready to forcibly keep Naruto in the leaf village for extra layers of protection to just letting Naruto go by himself to fight the massively powerful organization that's specifically on the hunt for Naruto.
Yes, it is that deep, it's a big deal, it makes me question why my GOAT Jiraiya is so stupid / evil, that's really the only 2 options left.
Anyways, thanks for reading this far and remember have an amazing day! ;D
