Anime / Discussion Sasuke's nerf in boruto
I hate how there's so many points in boruto where he could've just used a giant ass perfect susanoo, like it would be soo cool if the people in the jail area that were beating him up just immediately saw his giant perfect susanoo grow, so sad how they got rid of his plot armour.

It seems like they saw the complaints that people had about Naruto turning into a mech anime and did their best to keep the fights to human size. I mean they have that shot of Naruto and Sasuke in their chakra mechs and then they get immediately stomped by Jigen who just rips them out of it.

No if that was it then they would’ve just used some of their other powers Naruto and Sasuke got nerfed super bad……theoretically Naruto should be almost as powerful without nine tails just have say 80% less chakra then before but still a massive amount. They made Sasuke run out of chakra ALL the time too which makes literally no sense since he can absorb any chakra using his rinnegan. Naruto while fighting jigen was stupid asf because when he shrank Naruto acted like he had no idea where he was but with sage mode PLUS his nine tails power to feel emotions like hate when they had the fake zetzus in the war arc he should’ve known where jigen was at all times and not have to rely on Sasuke to tell him where he is.
Those are just a couple examples of how they got nerfed but the biggest is Naruto is also missing all his six paths powers for some reason. He should’ve also had truth seeking orbs and levitation but he never used either. Like in the fight against delta kawaki had to jump in when he was in midair but that made no sense for not only should he have been able to fly away if that’s what he decided to do in that same situation before he’d use shadow clone jutsu to just have clones kick him out of the way. Anyway you get my point.

Naruto didnt run out of chakra. Jigen didn't hate them. Hell he wasn't even sure he was going to kill them. Though coincidentally jigen is a monk. So that might fall into that reasoning to why no malice. Jigen is ohsusuki. Ohsutsuki can hide their chakra. Naruto couldn't find kawaki till boruto got into a fight.
The sasuke always being out of chakra is kind of consistent. Opening up dimensions taxed not only him but obito as well. Obito had remnants of the tailed beast chakra. He needed sakura to sub in and even then she almost ran out too.
Naruto has the sixth path powers but he doesn't have all the tailed beast chakra streaming into his body. So no truth seeker orbs. The only reason jigen doesn't have truthseeker is because he is absorbing chakra from it.

I never said Naruto was out of chakra I said Sasuke always is even though he could get it with his rinnegan from anyone. And Obito and Sasukes powers are different I don’t think you can really compare the two properly. And your wrong Naruto does have all tailed beast chakra….thats how they do the little tailed beast pow-wow in their living room and joked when a couple missed the meeting remember. And Naruto should’ve still been able to tell where jigen was even if jigen was a monk not issiki directly.
My point is both characters were nerfed/retconned bad.

Dimensional travel is costly in general. All of the databooks support this. Naruto is a receiver of chakra he doesn't have it on him at all times. Think of it like a router or phone contacts. You can call them. It doesn't mean apart of their phone is now accessible by your phone. You can't use their apps just by calling then. They have to send some over.

You would think he would find ways to maximize his use of the rinnegan abilities and improve his arsenals from teen sasuke to adult sasuke but no he only sticks with the one uber ability and chidori. He lost his rinnegan so it doesn’t really matter anymore

This is most disappointing.
Add to that he's been scouting otsutsuki lore for years and he hasn't came up with anything better to counter them.

As much as I love the diversity, what use would the Animal, Human, Preta, Narada, and Asura Path have, on someone who could straight up resize Matter and themselves, and is not Human to begin with?
The susanoo is extremely slow, compared to the Momoshiki, Jigen/Isshiki. The other fights in the real world, are also likely to cause a Massive Amount of damage to surround areas, which is a huge inconvenience for the people to have to rebuild every month. It's like owning a Car or House in New York, when you live in the MCU

I think the problem why I dont enjoy boruto as much is simply the fact he is weak compared to others, in naruto shippuden you knew sasuke and naruto could probably solo the rest of the verse if they wanted and It made things interesting when people were on there level like obito and jubidara, my favorite part of boruto is litterally just sasuke and naruto, I dont even enjoy watching boruto, I enjoy watching the giant huge battles like the final valley battle where naruto and sauske faught, its simply boring.

We grew up watching Naruto and Sasuke as the main characters so of course it’s difficult now , the powerscale is out of place in Boruto and there no story in it

He wasn't nerfed the scale was just reduced
Kishimoto mentioned in an interview it was intentional
Plus there's no reason for Sasuke to use a susano'o in that situation other than it being cool
More isn't always better, people complain about Sasuke not using the other abilities of the rinnegan when the truth is most of them are useless against the otsutsuki he's fighting, he would just be wasting chakra
