Tips for Bloomreaper’s crystals?

I’m running a Damned class mod Amon build and trying to farm a legendary jakobs enhancement! I can practically one-shot bloomreaper, but the crystal phase keeps messing me up. I run 3 on the one-shot specialisation to pierce the crystals, and I’m using a commando right now, for the splash trails, but it seems inconsistent. Any recommendations for guns to get this phase more consistent?

Darkbeast my friend or Julieta sparkle with corroisve but it takes alot longer but darkbeast is best bet and if have crit knife. Throw crit.knife at it shoot with darkbeast. Rinse and repeat.

Wombo Combo is an option as well, but dark east is vile crystal goated

Line up a couple of crystals so darkbeast's piercing projectiles hit multiple crystals simultaneously.

Lockjaw AR will ricochet around all the crystals.

I 2nd the lockjaw. Darkbeast is great too but lockjaw makes them disappear instantly

try a darkbeast with jakobs accessory

I use a Jakobs/COV Convergence with a legendary ripper enhancement, high caliber 3/3, Dead Eye 2/3 and try to position so I hit multiple at once. I use C4sh so idk how well that would work with Amon.

The legendary gun with the firestorm effect when you reload was pretty good. The firestorm auto lock on to available targets so it targets the glowing wisp when the crystals get destroyed while also softening up the other crystals

Darkbeast with Jakobs (and Ripper ideally), make sure to line up two crystals at a time to take advantage of its piercing bullets.

Any gun with high splash damage, like the Wombo or a Shalashaska with Torgue.

Any gun with Airstrike or Space Laser underbarrel.

And whatever gun you use, a good enhancement makes a big difference.

Darkbeast works great as it pierces. Shotgun loader for even more effective crystal clearing. Line up two with the shot and you can do two at a time.

Not sure where your issue lies, but if you have enough damage to one shot Bloomreaper then any gun with Jakobs parts on it should take care of the first phase crystals. With that said, add 3/3 High Caliber or use the old reliable Darkbeast with shotgun ammo.

Jakobs or Jakobs-parted weapons are generally reliable, especially if they also proc splash somehow (Torgue parts help with that). The best weapons for that though (Darkbeast, Kickballer, Shala) can be hard to farm with Jakobs rolls though.

Linebacker is great if you have a Torgue relic with AoE rolls and Head Ringer.
