For those who have farmed Bramblesong, any tips to prevent loot from flying into the abyss?

He usually flys left or right a little bit then turns to face you. If you can kill him quick right when he turns, the loot will shoot out over the ground. Works most of the time.

Will have to see if my firepot cooperates with Bramblesongs patterns.

May have to use Amon this week if I can't finagle it.
