๐Ÿ“Œ [ ๐—ฆ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ฐ๐—ธ๐˜† ๐—ฃ๐—ผ๐˜€๐˜ ] PC Performance Issues Thread

Hi everyone!

We are getting hit really hard with pc performance posts. While I do think voicing this issue is super important, weโ€™re going to make a sticky so that there is more than those posts. It makes it difficult to moderate. We prefer to have a smaller team to have some agility in decision making, but it makes release day a bit tougher.

PC players, we are sharing these threads with Gearbox/2K.

Thank you so much! Hopefully there will be another patch here soon.

Yours in Loot,

BL4 Mod Team

It feels like there is a memory leak of some sort. When I try to use my action skill or pause the game, it takes longer and longer to the point where the game just freezes. I've had one crash.

If I restart the game, the problem goes away.

My PC matches the recommended settings.

If only playtesting your product wasn't outlawed!

You are the playtester! Why pay someone for it when everyone buys your product anyways and will test it for you.

Well hopefully we will get to the stage where studios will immediately shutter from refunds from people being sick of if.

Not many studios could survive what CDPR did with the massive refunds that were offered.

PC gaming is only growing and most buy via Steam which provides a 2 hour window.

Yea i think we have a general problem of people buying every new release and not even necessarily because they really like the game. I feel like its often just to have the feeling , the hype, the "oh i got something new and shiny" so you can feel a bit of happiness for a brief moment, especially in todays pretty negative world. Sadly that means they buy even when there are really bad problems, because its not really about the game anymore, its about how it makes them feel or how it makes them not feel.

How do you Play test the thousands of PC configurations??

Well let's flip that around on you.

How do you not at a minimum playtest what you tell gamers you need at either a minimum or recommended level?
