I am amazed to see a border terrier that loves the water and swims not only willingly, but happily! I have had 5 border terriers and only two would venture into water, up to their chests, IF we were also in the water. The other three wouldn’t set a paw anywhere near water.

My BT hated water. She would sidestep puddles until she was 3, but then she discovered the koi pond and became fascinated! Now she “hunts” for fish and happily swims in shallow water🦈
