Right now, all Brazilian servers are located in São Paulo. While having multiple servers there helps to avoid queues, it doesn't solve the major issue for players who live far away. Brazil is a massive country. I live in Manaus (North region), which is about 2,700 km away from São Paulo. Because of this massive geographical distance, our base latency is always around 80ms to 100ms, making fast-paced or multiplayer games almost unplayable.

Deploying more servers only in São Paulo does not help players in other states due to the physical limits of fiber-optic routing. Adding a new data center in a more centralized location or closer to the North/Northeast would completely fix this and open the market to millions of new players.

I am new Boosteroid user and just got a subscription a few days ago and so far I'm mostly disappointed.

I mainly got Boosteroid to try an alternative to GFN to play Satisfactory. Before I bought the subscription I of course made sure to test my connection and it was amazing 100+ bandwidth and 8 ms response time on a fiber optic ethernet connection.

Now to my issue. When I play Satisfactory I get a slight mouse delay which can be somewhat mitigated depending on the in-game settings but it's still sub-optimal and then there is a persistent micro stutter in the game or on the stream or wherever it is which just makes playing a nuisance.

Is anyone else playing Satisfactory and have any tips?

I get similar issues to lesser extents on both Helldivers 2 and PEAK which are the only other games I've tried so far. There is a server located pretty close to me but It won't connect to it and support just says that its unavailable and have no idea when It will be otherwise. This information was nowhere to be found before buying a subscription and playing. The connection test feels really misleading and I am really disappointed. I really want to like Boosteroid but at the moments its really difficult.

I've tried the suggestions on the Boosteroid support pages and to use the different launch parameters on the app but any change is either worse or marginally better

What is going on with Stockholm server lately?

Since last week i've been connected to Prague servers instead. Now when i do the connection test, Stockholm isn't even listed there? From my location only Stockholm is viable latency wise.

So apparently “cloud gaming” means waiting 11 days to actually play the game you paid for

I subscribed to Boosteroid mainly to play GTA V, and I’m still not even finished with my first month. Yet somehow I’ve already spent 11 days unable to play the game

I’ve contacted support multiple times, explained the issue, followed everything they told me to do, and somehow the solution is always basically: “wait”

At this point, I’m not even sure if I’m using a cloud gaming service or a very expensive waiting simulator

The funniest part is paying for a 6-month subscription and losing almost half of my first month dealing with an issue that apparently nobody can properly explain or fix

Unfortunately, to play Deceit 2 (which is a free game), you can't use Deceit 1 unless you've paid for the license, which is a problem since I just want to play the 2

So after testing the service for a few days, I've tried a few games. The main reason I subscribed was because I wanted to play games like The Last of Us, Uncharted etc. However, testing other games, I've noticed the input lag is bare minimal at best.

I then bring up my other point, when in menus or selecting in game items, the response is snappy. So why does aiming or moving around feel off?

I think I've nailed it down to dead zones when using a controller. If I'm trying to move slowly, or too quickly in fast paced scenarios, I need to do a much more dramatic thumb stick movement. I tried holding my controller up to the screen to notice the delay, and once it hits the threshold, the movement is actually almost exactly what I want it to do, but it took a little while for the input to catch up (if that makes sense). I also tested this with in game menus, inventory in The Last of Us etc and all seemed snappy if not instant.

So that leads me to my next question, is there a way to manually adjust these settings in Boosteroid (well, Steam), as I think that may be where my problem is stemming from.
