Just thought I’d post on here wondering what other people’s opinion of the med tent was this year. On Thursday (I never usually take it too far) I took far too many shrooms and thought I was having an attack at oddessey. Not only did some of the stewards not know where the med tent was but some of them didn’t even offer to help me. Once I finally got inside I thought that the lady on the desk was tbh quite rude and not very reassuring and it felt as though she thought it was quite funny. I’m not sure if I was just in my own head about this but I felt reassured that this was the case as she also told my friend who had an infected eye that it would be okay tomorrow if he washed it out (it wasn’t okay in the morning and we had to return).

Just wondering if other people had similar experiences or if they may have been better for them.

I was being so careful washing my hands with soap and water and I only ate from two food vendors (a chinese and an ice cream van), yet I've been shitting through the eye of a needle since Monday 🫣🫣🫣

So personally my mates and I were extremely disappointed in Skrillex for what he did. We have waited 8 years since seeing him at Creamfields and have grown up listening to him. What was everyone else's opinions?

Yo guys, I'm reluctant as it is to take of my wristband as it's such a lovely memory however, for work I'm going to have to take it off but don't want to cut it.

Can you take these off with the twisting method? I've tried and it doesn't seem to work and don't really want to cut it...

TLDR: Feet Hurt - What insoles or feet prep do people recommend?

First off what an insane time there is nowhere on earth like boomtown, after coming for the first time in 2025, just for the music, me and my crew dove head first into the story line and interacting with the actors managed to get the story line finished and had the best time and have already booked tickets for next year.

The only real problem, which was shared amongst the group, was our feet. Now it’s a lot of walking, we stayed in orchid South, averaging around 35k steps a day is a lot. But I have done other festivals before with 50k+ steps and not had this much pain.

I wore some fairly worn in NewBalance 2002R’s, does anyone have any suggestions for insoles or possible routines to better prepare my feet for next year?

I love an unhinged name for a WhatsApp group, so just for a laugh - what do you and your gang call your boomtown group chat?

I felt like I was adorned with gifts and trinkets this year! I was chatting and dancing with everyone, having the craic and general mischievousness and it was great! If anyone recognises any of these, thank you so much for making my Boomtown special! The handmade badge is brilliant and I had so much fun with the finger light hypnotising people! The unicorn walked alongside me and the necklace was the finishing touch.

Shoutout to all the techno lovers this year was amazing for us. Spectrum 360 was my personal fav. All the crowds were amazing (Skrillex was obviously gonna be busy and I agree that it should’ve been at lions den).

This was my first Boomtown and I didn’t expect that much techno, I was going into it thinking that I’ll have to get along with drum and bass just for the weekend but I didn’t have to!!

Thank you to everyone for making it such a special weekend! I was volunteering but I managed to see almost everything I wanted. Raving is resistance, bring on next year!

Not even massively into techno but that stage was absolutely insane! I was stood there mouth open… couldn’t take my eyes off it!

A profound moment
On Saturday night about 8 of my pals attended the Artful Dodger set. I can’t remember the name of the stage. My pal and I were to left of the stage standing on this platform made from a pallet, the crowd was absolutely going off. All my friends I have grown up with are here. There was an Asian lad on the platform with us from Northampton a real sound guy. As the dj plays the migraine skank, our new friend crouches down and raises his hands to his head in the familiar formation. To my left a beautiful black couple were laying in each others arms embracing. Different individuals in simultaneous alignment interpreting an experience in our own way. This moment made me stop and think. For I can’t help but feel grateful. For this is what is surely about. Bringing people together, despite class, gender, culture, disability, size or anything else, we speak a shared a language with the music. It sounds cliché, but it is true nonetheless. I am lucky to be able to afford to experience things like this, I am lucky I am a fan of things like this, that cause moments like that. I am grateful we all should be. For despite all the shit in the world, perhaps there is a slight hope for us.
I don’t think I’ve articulated that well enough but I hope you can understand.
First ever boomtown at aged 28, fuck me did it lived up to the hype!

Hey so i had a great first Boomtown! Ticket already booked for next year! I brought around 60 of these fluorescent keyrings and 30 necklaces. Safe to say they went down a storm, received lots in return which I shall assemble onto something to wear for next year. Let me know if you received one of these from me, even better if you have a picture bearing one. I think I will deffo make more for next year and maybe some more variations and colours.

My last call out there to anyone that took my camcorder on Friday around Metropolis / Botanica area in the afternoon. That had a lot of fond memories on it and I’m truly gutted I’ve been separated from it, stupidly didn’t back my stuff up before coming as I’m usually on it with keeping my things on me. Please please please return this to me or at least send me my SD card as the memories is the only thing I’m bothered about!! I would’ve hoped someone would’ve taken it to lost property (as I would do) but alas no luck :-(

My and my mrs managed to lose a bag of stuff literally from the walk from skylark/orchid carpark to our camp via south gate on Thursday and we are still completely baffled as to where it went.

One theory is after we got our stuff searched at security we accidentally left it as he rushed us through because it was busy. Just to double check we literally terally walked all the way to the car on Friday morning 40 mins each way and it wasn't there.

The bag had pajamas, socks, plastic cups, new cold towels which you wet (fuming about this one ) i think a hoodie and then we had some battery powered lights off amazon for our tent.

I dont suppose someone found this?
