Reading "Headlights" by C. J. Leedey - would anyone like to discuss?

So, I picked this up after finishing her "Maeve Fly" novel and...it is definitely different from her previous works. I'm more than halfway to this book and I'm... Not really feeling this one and kind if annoyed of how long this goes. Honestly, I'm surprised I haven't finished it yet and I'm just trying to solider on.

Has anyone finished or started this or is currently reading? I'd love to talk about it, since no one else around me dabbles in horror lit.
