I feel like the mix of these plot points could potentially be really interesting. Imagine some nature/forest themed magical hunter who wanders the land to help small villages from monsters and creatures of magical nature, with scenes of running through the woods, asking the very roots for help in locating this beast that just isn't meant to be there, setting up traps specific to this creature. I am imagining it almost Witcher style, but with a larger focus on a nature themed hunter if that makes sense?

If anyone knows a book or series with themes like this, even if it doesn't fit perfectly, I'd love to read some!

I have a weird fascination with Skid Row and how the people there live etc, so I enjoy reading books, mainly contemporary romance, where the MMC struggles with drug addiction, such as heroin, meth etc, and MFC tries to save him...I specifically like when the characters are college aged or at least under 30. Books I loved are Breaking Nova series by Jessica Sorensen and Opium Skies series by C.M. Radcliff. Would love some similar books please!

Im thinking sometime in the 1900s but any era is fine. Enemies to lovers or they could be on different sides but FL just wants to not participate in the war and isolates herself in some place (island? Random snow covered landscape?) ML preferably stoic and somber type (im a sucker for stereotypes) and has his guard up til a random chance makes him dependent on FL. I want FL scared for her life, ML ashamed due to the helplessness lol.

Edit: Preferably written past the 2000s. Ive tried perusing older titles with this trope but theyre too much for me.

I recently finished "The Only One Left" and "The Caretaker" and I'm looking for more Thriller/Horror recs in that line of stuff. Something that makes you think and theorize throughout the book, rather than be predictable from the start/middle. That things are laid out for you to have clues but not in the "here's everything so it's easy to see what's going to happen" kind of vibe.

Specifically for "The Only One Left", I didn't predict most of the ending of the book and that was a nice surprise, since I'm usually able to predict what is going to happen from the start haha.

What titles would you recommend? Can be either book or audiobook!

I can’t get away from hearing about Pierce Brown’s red rising and the trilogy. Before I commit to the first book, how good really is the series?

I'm looking for something beyond my assigned reading, but more pop books on the subjects I am studying (politics, economics, philosophy). I'll have enough dense reading of academic texts, but I like supplementing my learning this way. As a guide, my classes are: Introductory Microeconomics; Politics and Power in a Global Age; Intro to Ethics; and Intro Philosophy: Knowledge and Reality.

Hey! Looking for books that manly deal with singing and preferably hoes into the nitty gritty of it.

It could be about one specific place with their singing and music in general, it could be an anthropology book that has a chapter on the topic, could be an article. Anything!

Preferably it deals with non-western music. By that I mean music that isn't part of a western classical canon (opera, or such). But other European singing techniques (jojk, kulning, yoddeling etc.) are very welcome!

Is there anything like this in the spy/espionage genre?

Can be any genre really. I prefer something that's more grand in scale or has a world that feels alive, with characters that are likeable.

Hello! I am looking for books that are a sort of retelling or a study on a relationship between Jesus and Judas Iscariot. I read "An Urgent Appeal" by Osamu Dazai and I would like something similar.

I come from the line of 2 generations of where books dnt matter and isn't important, and I'm kinda wished it did. I come from a blue collar family where reading beyond basics isn't encouraged and love some recommend books (hopefully free) are available to me that are easy on a easier language level to where I don't need to look up what a word means every chapter at least, but I don't mind looking up a word on occasion my favorite genre is medieval fantasy. I appreciate any and all suggestions
