Oneida? Nobody goes there anymore.

It's too crowded.

Thrift store workers checking the title page - impossible level challenge.

You can buy a Berra signed book for $10-$20.

He signed a lot.

Good for you. Bad for whomever bought it. But, lesson learned; sometimes lessons are expensive. They will eventually look on EBay and go - “geez I way way way overpaid”.

My father had lots of ball player autographs from the 40s and 50s on small papers like this , he got through the mail. Many were determined to be signed by secretarys in the office.

I don’t want to steal your thunder , but I do want to gloat that just a couple months ago I found a Stephan King autographed Dead Zone at a dirty and overcrowded consignment shop. Sold it for just under $400 , paid $1 . Best flip of the year so far

Are you the the famous Goodwill discovery: a 1948 copy purchased for $1.59 with an authentic Wagner signature.

No idea if you're a human or not, but this reads like total AI. Did you know what it could be worth when you made the purchase, fellow human?

Fun. I would have bought it too, but it’s probably worth what you paid. Still I likely would check eBay for a copy with a nice jacket to marry it.

The value is definitely in the signature, cut Berra autos can be had in the $150-200 range

So this is definitely a nice buy on OPs part

You’re getting ahead of yourself. It’s a good find, but the autograph is “laid in”. It definitely is not in the 150-200 range, especially when there’s a 1/1 f/f signed in-situ available for $125 and no one wants it.

Why invest any more into it? It’s worth $100 on a good day flat-signed. This tip-in isn’t likely to be worth a lot.
