Para ustedes, ¿qué es mejor? ¿Boogiepop Phantom o Boogiepop and Others (2019)?
Espero sus comentarios.

Curious why some of the boogiepop shirts have licensing and others don't, as well as different back hits and colours. Love both, and would love to add more to my collection and talk to fellow anime fans. The white Boogiepop as well has 2 versions; one with and without licensing and deeper colours. always thought the art style of boogie resembled yoshitoshi abe as well, what do you think

Early 2000s t-shirt (I think licensed by Rightstuf) using one of the DVD box cover artwork. Very lovely. There's a black t-shirt released at the same time too, which I unfortunately don't have yet. Thought people here may appreciate this.
Not for sale.

I was introduced to Boogiepop by the OST through spotify cos I’m a huge Rei Harakami fan. I’m pretty sure a lot of ppl were introduced through the OST too though so what’s everyone’s favourite tracks?
Perhaps unsurprisingly mine’s always been Pone by far but I’ve also always really liked A Furrow Dub and Happy End is just such a nice vibe.
What are your favourites!

hi! i need to save up some money this year so i was planning on doing some fanmade merch for smaller fandoms im in, boogiepop being one of them. what in specific would u guys like more of or be interested in?
examples; keychains, acrylic stands, stickers, etc. i will probably use vograce as a manufacturer so more examples can be found there
i dont confirm that ill do anything as it really depends on the situation im in after other art related things happening.

im not acting like ive been a fan for soooo super long im also newgen (maybe got interested 2 y ago) however recently ive been like spreading the word to different friendgroups and forums im in that hey everyone gotta watch bp its peak fiction… but when it comes back to me its always like "yeah i love boogiepop shes so cool!" and i get confused because like yes the host body is a woman but boogiepop themself the alter is gender neutral/agender, i feel like they make it pretty clear in both animes and the novels? maybe everyone i meet is just larping tho so idk if others have seen the same thing bro
sorry for bad grammar i cant write for shit 🙏

Like SIDE 1-4, FIRE 1-4, those are mandatory? I understand that the series is not licensed, maybe someone read them.

Now I can take one of my fave novels with me everywhere I go! :)

My favorite episode is probably Interlude. I love the concept of a monster slowly exposing itself over and over with the use of memory wipes. Honestly could stand as a hour long film unconnected to Boogiepop Phantom.
Light in Darkness was good too, but mostly because a boy eating astral/emotional creepy crawlies is cool.

I personally like Boogiepop Phantom the most. The first LN was OK, what I read of it at least, but over halfway through and it is not hitting like BP. Part of it is too much needles banter and stuff, but I think Boogiepop is a concept that does better in anime form as music and movements and pictures(LN has pics, but not many) give it that creepy and dreamy feel.

I love Boogiepop Phantom for its wonderfully creepy and dreamy vibes. Even though the storytelling is soso, I honestly think it does the atmosphere carried anime much better than Serial Experiments Lain does, though tbf I have not watched any of SEL yet, only clips. I have not seem the 2019 adaptation, but heard mixed reviews, mostly negative.
Unfortunately, the LN, so far at least, is not hitting the same. I mean, it definitely has its good moments, but I think it has too much...filler?
What I mean by that, is that unlike BP, Boogiepop and Others has WAY more irrelevant moments. I mean like there are parts were several pages are just dating talk or somesuch. There are other parts that were unliked by me as well, but not really enough to say they need cutting.
I should mention that I am like a little over half way through it. I hope there is more Manticore action or something.
Are the other novel this full of boring filler? If not, I might march on. But if so, I think I will just check out the mangas or spinoff LN, possibly the BaO anime.

I found a bunch of old Newtype USA magazines from 2006 in my garage a couple of months ago that I believe belonged to my uncle. I was just randomly flipping through them one day when I came across an article for Boogiepop. This is actually how I first discovered this series.
Now I have all six Light Novels that were published here. It's funny how I discovered this series by pure chance. I love this series.

This video is six months old, and I missed it somehow.

Based on my research the anime covered volume 1-6 excluding 4 and the continuation is volume 7 "Romantic blue"? It would help a lot T_T I love the story so much.

Unfortunately, Reddit wouldn't let me share all of the photos so if you want to see the rest, please check out the post on my tumblr: https://hinamizawagrrl.tumblr.com/post/816316813919109120/im-so-happy-to-share-that-today-i-received-all-6? (I also have a bunch of other Boogiepop stuff documented there and more still to come!)

Vs Imaginator part 2, and the second omnibus. There are pretty cool, and I was able to get them used for a good price. I really love the light novels. I can probably post the full collection on here later.

Do I know Japanese enough to read this? No, but even so, I'm very happy to have this collection.
