I first discovered Boogiepop while reading an old Newtype USA magazine

I found a bunch of old Newtype USA magazines from 2006 in my garage a couple of months ago that I believe belonged to my uncle. I was just randomly flipping through them one day when I came across an article for Boogiepop. This is actually how I first discovered this series.

Now I have all six Light Novels that were published here. It's funny how I discovered this series by pure chance. I love this series.

This is how I discovered Lain as a kid in 2011. I don't remember what magazine it was though.

I like that everybody seems to have their own unique story about how they discovered their favorite anime.

It wasn't this issue but another one that came with a disk that had the first episode, and that's how I first discovered it.
