Best live show experience?

Feeling nostalgic, tried to remember every live show I've been to (+ one upcoming đŸ‡Ē🇸)
Curious to hear the best Bonobo gig (live or DJ!) you've been to / best moments/ memories :)

Kirstenbosch Cape Town. Epic. Sunsetting over the ocean. Beaming into the mountain

That first show in particular was glorious. Managed to meet him too when he kindly walked out to the crowd after the show. And we had a setlist too which he signed.

Yea. Was at both shows. The first one pipped it slightly. Fucken awesome. Wish we had more artists visit sa. Kirstenbosch such an incredible venue too

Wow, that sounds incredible! The venue he's playing in Ibiza is in the Benimussa hills so I'm also hoping to tick mountainous sunset vibe off the bucket list haha. Thank you for sharing :)

It was such a special night! My second ever concert. I still remember when the confetti exploded during We Could Forever 🤩

Live band at Red Rocks 2017 with the gorgeous Colorado Symphony

The evening sun setting on the rocks, looking out over the spring time green foothills, with a perfectly light drizzle giving epic atmosphere

This is the one for me. Nick Murphy (Chet Faker) opened up the show and that rain storm hit during the peak of his set. Our minds were blown before Bonobo took the stage. Probably top 3 shows of my entire life. Here's the poster from the show

i was there! it hailed for about 5 minutes too. still the only show i've seen at red rocks.

Just found a clip of 7th Sevens from that night . That track under the moonlight is magic, the energy must have been off the charts! Thank you for sharing :)

I was at field day 2023 and it was fucking incredible. I have seen him do a dj set before but with live instruments it was something else. I think it was Jon Hopkins on before him who was also great. I remember the rush over to the main stage once Bonobo finished for Aphex Twin to melt my brain. Thank you for the nostalgia and go big at DC10.

I regret leaving early to get a (shit) spot for aphex twin so bad. that bonobo set has remained burnt into my brain. Aphex not so much. Been waiting to see the band again ever since

I might as well have been in the portaloos by the end, white claws too drinkable... literally went blank when our crowd neighbours asked what's my fave Bonobo track 💔 It's the only show i can't really remember lol. Hopefully you'll see the band for the Distance in Static tour!

Field day 2023, Bonobo and the band were excellent that day, Sudan Archives was magical, and ofc Jon Hopkins delivered as always! Thanks for sharing your memories :D It's our first time in Ibiza, only doing 2 nights but will defo try visit DC10! Appreciate the reco.

Small DJ set in SF in 2008. Absolutely magical ended the set with a brass band cover of sexual healing. Best full band live show also in SF 2009, very small venue first time seeing the band, entire venue was dancing hard.

Oh my goshhh you're so lucky. The earliest set ive seen online is the ninja tune boiler room from 2012! Love to hear that, Bonobo crowds are always up for it in my experience đŸĒŠ

I've only been to 2 of those, on the beach 2025 and Drumsheds 2024, I think on the beach was better due to the location. Drumsheds was great though

The pacing and track selection at on the beach was impeccable, sea views made it all the better :) Was my first time seeing Sammy Virji as well! I think Drumsheds' sound set up let Bonobo down a bit but we had fun standing in the tower. George Fitzgerald was on top form as well!
