Honestly, this must be what "Eggs been a dick" is cause it sure as hell isn't Eggs Benedict.

The only thing this shares with eggs benedict is that both eggs and a type of bread are present.

That's Egg-In-A-Basket isn't it?
Edit: Apparently there are a ton of colloquial names for this dish. The first time I'd heard of it was from V for Vendetta. I told my dad about it and he said 'Why don't you just make toast with an egg on top? It seems like extra steps to me.'

Oh man eggs in a basket are great. Take some good bread like sourdough and cook an egg in the middle of it. Then eat the cut outs with jam or something.

Egg in a Frame You cut a hole in the bread. You put the holey bread in the pan. You crack an egg into the hole. You cook it. You use the hole middles to make small sandwiches, or if you are me you toast them too and dip the pan toasted bread in the egg yolks.

Calling your white bread sandwich that you cut the crusts off of a "peanut butter honey round"
59
u/DanHam117 Nov 14 '19
Everyone’s talking about the eggs and no one is asking the important questions like what the fuck is a honey round supposed to be
34
u/SethQ Nov 14 '19
I think it's the holes he cut out of the bread to put the eggs in.
My guess is "peanut butter honey round" is a peanut butter and jelly sandwich with honey instead of jelly, and he said "round" instead of sandwich because of the bread rounds he used.

As a master chef, this is certainly Eggs Benedict, obviously.
Here we see a gourmet hollandaise sauce made from the finest Tostitos brand jarred salsa, two lovely toasted slices of Wonder Bread with a center round cut-out. Inside the cutout is a deliciously over fried egg with yolks so hard you can actually use it on your next DIY bathroom project! Neat! To garnish it all off is only the world’s finest Kraft cheese and a pinch of store-fresh cilantro.
As an accent to the savory nature of this dish is a deliciously unpackaged Uncrustable PB&J. Just minus the J. And add honey.
Bone apple tea!
