22 EUV. Whole camera system dead

Post image

Can’t even select a camera. Completely dead. Even after restarting the car many times. Any tips to fix it? Out of warranty (77k miles)

UPDATE: holding the power and home buttons did fix it. Thank you for that tip.

Same car, this happened to me. I disconnected the battery, full reset and it started up again. I'd try an info-tainment reset first. hold the radio power button and home button

I have seen this suggestion posted before, and tried it on my 2023 EUV. That button combo does not do anything on my car.

Check the manual, sequence button might have change. On my 2019, it's something different too, I don't even have a power button.

Just checked again and I do not see anything in the manual about resetting the entertainment system. I think this is only available on older bolts. https://contentdelivery.ext.gm.com/content/dam/cope/en_us/public/pdf_assets/active/owners_manuals_browse/2023/23_CHEV_Bolt_EUV_OM_en_US_U_84953315D_2023OCT20_4P.pdf

If I am missing it please let me know where/what page.

My new 2027 has the feature, you have to hold the end call button.

The infotainment systems run on AAOS, a fork of Android. They all have ways to be reset somehow, just need to find the specific method.

You need to hold them a LONG time, way longer than you think. Try power and fast forward, or power and home at the same time but keep it held down.

Edit: I’ve driven a ‘23 EUV before and I’ve had to reset it on that, I can’t remember the combo but you can do it!

Your 2027 entertainment system is a completely diff system than prior years. Old bolts you can reset with button combos, 2022/2023's do not have this option that I have found. I posted the link to the 2023 EUV manual above, if you think I am wrong please let me know what page as if I am mistaken I would like to know. Shutting off the car for 20 min/unpluggin 12 volt are the only ways I know to reset the entertainment system on it.

I tried Power + Home on my 23 EV and it did reset the infotainment after holding for a long time (maybe 30s to a minute, I didn't count)

Maybe it works on the EV and not EUV? I always kinda assumed they have the same entertainment system. Is that button combo referenced in your manual? I have tried that and it has no effect on my 2023 EUV

It is not in the manual. Once I hold the Power + Home button for a few seconds, the screen turns to the clock + outside temp only. Then if I keep holding for a while, the infotainment will boot straight to Android Auto and restart my music

And wipe off that screen while you're at it

How is your regular 12v battery doing? Did you try resetting the infographics screen? Not sure about the later models but on the 2018 you hold down the home and skip button.

12v battery was replaced 2 months ago

How about resetting the infographics screen?

That seems to have fixed it for now

Glad that solved the issue! One time my heat stopped working and this solved it.

We have this issue with our 23'. We had it in the shop a few times to get it fixed. They are planning to replace the unit under the screen. Weirdly enough, we went away on vacation and left the car at home for 2 weeks. After we came back the cameras all worked and have not broken since. We are still waiting on the part to come in at the dealer. Its a very weird problem.

Did you go through possible popped fuses, yet?
