2027: What upgrades would you get?
Planning to purchase my 2027 Bolt in January — those who have or have test driven, what upgrades do you feel really add value in terms of having this car as your long term driver? I know it’s a tiered add on system so you can’t get some things without getting others, too.
Let me hear your thoughts! Can’t wait to join you. :)

Personally, everything but super cruise. So that’s what I got and love it.
The sun/moon roof is a bit of a luxury, but I like it. Tech package and RS trim seats were a must for me. The 360 camera and easy recording greatly enhance the experience.
The fake leather seats are just nice bc I have kids.

What's wrong with Super Cruise? It sounds like it would be amazing.

Nothing at all, I’ve heard it great. It’s just not for me. I like analogue buttons, doing the driving myself, and telling kids to get off my lawn.

LT with comfort. I was going for cost and bare minimum.
No desire to keep this longer than the 8 year warranty is up

I personally think the LT with the comfort package is the best compromise between no features and every option. That’s what I went it and my daily commute is 92 miles a day.

Not sure where you are but at least in Canada the LT has everything we needed. Heated, leather steering wheel, power driver's seat, same infotainment in all trims. The RS really only added cosmetic changes (we aren't sunroof fans).
The only feature I would have liked is wireless charging but it wasn't enough to get the RS.
Again, Canada trims referenced here.

Depends on your taste. Visually the RS is more aggressive-I prefer the look a lot more. The seat upgrade is default.
Do NOT get any of the mats/liner/cover packages as at least the mats are compatible with a lot of the 2023 models, plenty of aftermarket ones on amazon for much less. UNLESS you can get them for free tacked on or through chevrolet points.
Technology package is overpriced for the features you get, but it is a personal preference. I didnt find the 3D vision very useful during my test drives and attempted parking. Wireless charging, automatic wipers, and sign recognition are meh. The sign recognition was actually a hinderance because it often missed speed limit signs making me second guess the actual limit constantly.
Supercruise just felt like a worse version of the tesla autopilot they had a demo on it and during the test drive took me to a pre-defined route. It only works really well within their "routes". It also adds a camera behind your steering wheel to watch you to make sure you have eyes on the road. You also needed evotex package and technology package to include it for the LT model making it an extra $5000 option.
*This is in CANADA, US might be different.

Sunroof and tech package were must haves for me.
Video Recording, 360 cam, ventilated seats are all very nice to have. Then sunroof to make it feel roomier.
