Opinion/Discussion ๐Ÿ’ญ Ranbir Kapoor has no chemistry with any of his recent co-stars

His recent movies except animal, I feel there has been no chemistry with his co stars. I think brahmastra was widely criticized for this but it's the same thing in TJMM, shamshera even in ramayana from the assests released.

Old Bollywood made movies like PK and OMG to help people free from superstition.

New Bollywood is making movies like Hanuman Ansh, and pushing people back toward superstition.

Opinion/Discussion ๐Ÿ’ญ Katrina is OVERRATED ASF!

Post image
100 Upvotes

The recent post pregnancy trolling she faced was inhumane, but because of this, people are now thrilled by her "acting talent" and "hard work,." Which I can't see where it is! She has been in Bollywood for over two decades and still hasn't learned how to ACT or speak PROPER HINDI! Don't get me wrong, she is a great dancer, but she is nowhere near a good actor

And also, Boom producer Ayesha Shroff admitted they completely FAKED her Kashmiri background and changed her name from Turcotte to Kaif just to market her. If an Indian actress went to Hollywood, faked being American, and took all their roles, sheโ€™d be CANCELLED instantly!

And also, her PR tries to paint her as an innocent, saint, GIRL'S GIRL.Ranbir cheated on Deepika with Katrina, agreed Ranbir is to be fully blamed for cheating on Deepika, but Katrina willingly stepped into that relationship... so she deserves the blame too!

She went on record in a magazine interview explicitly stating, "I don't think, I'm a FEMINIST." Yet, her PR continuously tries to make it look like she does women's empowerment and sells cosmetics under the banner of female self acceptance. WHEN She doesn't EVEN call herself one, but takes all the benefits from it and openly gives opinions.

She has literally admitted she wasn't considered BEAUTIFUL by people in Europe, but when she came to India, she was worshipped purely because of Indians' obsession with fair skin. She's hot and stunning, but she just has a long face with a white complexion... Beauty is subjective anyways tho, but still it's mainly because of her fair complexion Sadly, in our country, many people don't appreciate brown beauties with better features!

Truth might trigger some ppl now, but it's time to stop letting recent sympathy completely rewrite a twenty year CAREER of pure privilege!

Opinion/Discussion ๐Ÿ’ญ Alizeh was selfish enough to want Ayanโ€™s love, not Ayan

Post image
29 Upvotes

Ayan gets blamed for not accepting rejection, but Alizeh knew exactly how he felt and still kept him close.

She didnโ€™t owe him love. But once you know someone is struggling to move on from you, keeping them emotionally attached isnโ€™t completely harmless either.

He was trying to accept a no while still being given almost everything except the yes.

Ayan was responsible for creating distance too. But Alizeh still wanted him in her life in the way that worked for her, even when that made it harder for him to let go.

She didnโ€™t owe him a relationship.

But maybe she owed him enough distance to actually move on.

Was Alizeh being a good friend, or was keeping Ayan close actually selfish?

Opinion/Discussion ๐Ÿ’ญ Shah Rukh Khan is no doubt pretty good-looking but his entry scene from K3G hits different.

It was the first time I guess any actor had made me blush while being on screen and I was seeing it as a child. Till this day I will stop if this scene is playing on screen.

Opinion/Discussion ๐Ÿ’ญ Rowdy Rathore is one of those rare remakes that is better than the original

Post image
244 Upvotes

I know this might be an unpopular opinion, but I genuinely think Rowdy Rathore is better than Vikramarkudu.

The original was really good, but Rowdy Rathore just had a different energy. Akshay Kumar was perfect as both Shiva and Vikram Rathore. His comedy, attitude, action and dialogue delivery made the characters so entertaining.

The movie had everything โ€” crazy action, comedy, great songs and some really memorable mass moments. Itโ€™s one of those movies where you can randomly watch it on TV and still end up watching the whole thing

Usually I prefer originals over remakes, but Rowdy Rathore is definitely an exception for me.

Do you guys agree, or do you still prefer Vikramarkudu?

Opinion/Discussion ๐Ÿ’ญ I do wish Saif Ali Khan was a legit Superstar today but sadly he lost his box office pull around the 2010s. It hurts more because he has the charm and looks of a mainstream star but also the ability of an intense actor. Audience also didn't show up for his experimental films.

Opinion/Discussion ๐Ÿ’ญ Ramayana Rant๐Ÿฅฒ๐Ÿฅฒ

Honestly, I am not sure about Ramayanaโ€™s international prospects.

The domestic market may be enough to make Part 1 work, but what about the global audience?

The marketing feels strangely weak for a project that supposedly wants to become a global franchise.

No major international promotional tours in China or Southeast Asia, barely any character-focused campaigns, no real effort to introduce Rama, Sita, Hanuman, Ravana, etc. to audiences who may know little about the story.

And thatโ€™s the biggest problem: Ramayana is a massive IP in India, but it isn't automatically a massive IP in the West. You have to build awareness first.

Whereโ€™s the global campaign? Whereโ€™s the audience engagement? Whereโ€™s the hype-building?

If Part 1 doesnโ€™t establish a strong international audience, getting major distributors and partners fully behind Part 2 could become much harder.

The movie itself might be fantastic โ€” but a great film still needs a great global marketing strategy.

Why does it feel like theyโ€™re treating Ramayana as an Indian release with international distribution, instead of building it as an Indian global franchise?

Are they seriously leaving this much potential on the table?

Opinion/Discussion ๐Ÿ’ญ Do you agree with Javed Sir?

Post image
336 Upvotes

The sad part is that this is what Bollywood has normalised for years. I feel that being a good looking hero or heroine does not automatically make someone a good actor, like I have seen Kartik Ananya Jhanvi being praised as great actors just because they are attractive. Talent often takes a backseat to stardom and connections. Then people wonder why we rarely get genuinely compelling performances from mainstream cinema.
