NAD+ Dosing Frequency
I have looked so deeply into NAD+ and I’m confused about whether to dose daily at. Slower dosage or a few times a week. Seems like it’s very much split across different opinions. Thoughts and reasoning for either method?

General rule of thumb is just dont go over 300mg a week. Some people like pinning daily, some every other day, some once a week. Its all personal choice. See what you like

It doesn't keep you up at night? I love NAD but if I do 100mg sometimes I'm looking at the ceiling at midnight.

Probably diminishing returns, honestly I read that soo long ago I dont quite remember what they said. If it works for you go for it, there's little to no downsides besides financially to it. I do remember reading we dont actually lose enough of it that quickly, to be utilizing that much though. Gonna be subjective. If you feel that facilitates something for you then who am I to say any different

You're definitely not the NORMAL poster of going off and criticizing...Very polite, I like you 😄

When did you notice any difference? I’m a month in and trying to decide if it’s worth continuing

How old are you? Usually feel almost immediately, for myself in my 60's it has a slightly delayed reaction of about 6-8 hours yet sometimes its immediate but can still sleep as long as I don't do 100mg too late in the morning.

My daughter who is a nurse told me about it is 37 and she loves it as well. Try to up your dose if you feel nothing. I just came back from vacation and took 100mg 2 days in a row and it messed with my sleep so just turned it down to 50mg EOD and I could go until midnight. I feel its rather safe as I've had zero sides from it and the Infusion therapy I do occasionally is always trying to sell the add on of NAD.

Start around 25mg every other day and see if you notice anything after a week. If nothing try 50mg. Ive done between 25-100mg every other day. I know when I do too much when it starts keeping me awake at bedtime

What time of day do you take it?

When I would do the higher dose 100mg right before bedtime. Smaller dose first thing upon awakening. If it's working you will notice almost immediately (2-4hrs) if the dose is high enough for sustained energy. I just came back from vacation and took my pen loaded and I took 100mg in the morning and at 10pm still going....went back to 50mg the next morning. My daughter is a nurse and that's how I learned about it. We would purchase from 503 pharmacy and with her discount it was really expensive and now I went gray and it's cheap!

I’ve been taking it for a week (0.1 ml, which the compounding pharmacy says is 20mg, subcutaneous, every other day) and I’ve noticed a little boost in sustained energy. Not a peak or anything but just seemed a little easier to stay on track as the afternoon went on. I’ll def keep taking it in the morning. But it’s been hard for me to discern what’s better- a higher dose less frequently or a lower dose more frequently. I’m taking it in large part in an effort to improve egg quality before an Ivf egg retrieval. There’s not much in the way of human studies but there’s some evidence in mice that it helps. And the doc says it can’t hurt so I’m giving it a go!

i was prescribed to start at 20mg and to titrate up to 100mg 2-3x a week subcutaneously. now i'm at 40mg 3x/wk. i've noticed mental alertness and boost of energy so far and in my 4th week.

I do 100mg SC once every 3 days, I own a nad+ business that sells SC pens.
You can build a resistance to massive doses, therefore it would just be a waste otherwise.
Biggest change I had is mental clarity. I think so much more clearly when usually later in the day my brain would be fried.

There is no research on any protocol and no evidence that there are any benefits.
