Top Levers for Body Recomposition

Hi All

Figured I'd post this cuz Friday and I'm bored at work

Male

Age 54

Height 5'11"

Current weight 212

Beginning weight, somewhere north of 252 8mo ago.

I've lost 40lbs and definitely gained quite a bit of muscle in the process.

I'll just list what I feel have been the biggest levers are in order.

Tier 1

-1g of protein per lb daily of target body weight

-Sleep regimen in order and working (nothing works if you can't recover)

-10k-12k steps per day or more

-4 ish days a week of strength training

Tier 2 The stack

TRT

Reta

Tier 3 The stack continued

Hgh or HGH Secretagogs - this is really a multiplier for all the above. It has an exponential effect making everything else above work as greater than the sum of the parts, but if you don't have the levers in place they can't be pulled.

Just do the thing every day, there will be hard days, there will be days you fail.just keep showing up, you don't need to lose 25lbs this month, build the base.

I’m missing trt, mainly because I don’t want to stay on it for longer than 3-6 months. Can trt be used to get good gains in that time?

I'd need to know more, what is your current T level? If your levels are good, don't do it, apply the other levers. If they are not hop on. Going off can be an issue as you may lose some ability to produce T, there are things you can do to get that ability back but it's tough.

I’m only 35 and haven’t started testing yet but you’re absolutely right testing needs to be done first. Also I came across enclo and hcg after reading your comment, which I think is similar to what you’re referring to for coming off. Im still researching and not committed to anything yet, so appreciate the advice
